Wherever this word 'world' is rooted, there, using its definitive term, there is no fault on the path. This is called view. If it is because of focusing on it, then there would also be a fault involving the unpolluted. Therefore, it is said, 'arising in an extensive way,' that which focuses on wherever, or the extensive arising that has an equal state, will abide there. If it is said, 'In polluted things, don't all afflictions arise extensively?' This is indeed true. Even so, at the time of all polluted things, the basis of views is unwavering without variety, because it is firmly grasped. Therefore, polluted things are just that nature, like that, desire and so on, and ignorance and doubt are not. Because it is not the affliction of its own nature, desire and so on are not everything, nor are they at all times, because 'whatever is born is not abandoned,' and so on will arise. Ignorance is at all times, but not without variety, because everything that has an equal state with desire and so on is understood like desire and so on. Doubt has everything, but it is not firmly grasped. Therefore, it is not called their basis. Here it becomes: always and at all times, without variety and unwavering, it is view, like that, desire, etc., ignorance and doubt are not. Because of arising, it is existence, which means arising, that which arises from all arising is unmanifest. In that case, there is no fault on the path. Or, this word 'existence' is defined as the five aggregates of grasping, so it definitely refers to them themselves. The sutra says, 'What is existence? It is the five aggregates of grasping.' Others say, 'If this exists from this, then arising is existence.' The word 'whatever' is for collecting the varieties such as defilement. Therefore, these are polluted, arising extensively, from the five aggregates of grasping to existence.

These functions are in accordance with the meaning of the terms. Because they follow the meaning in a similar way, they are in accordance with the meaning. Because they are those terms, and also in accordance with the meaning, they are in accordance with the meaning of the terms. Or, if the terms are related to the meaning, then the terms are in accordance with the meaning. As it is said, "Form and the other five aggregates," the words spoken are for the purpose of fully indicating the things to be controlled, because in order to control the aggregates such as form, which are separated by the terms that are with outflows. As in "Form is the five faculties," and so on, the general classification of the aggregates has been explained. Now we will explain the individual classifications. When "form" is mentioned, it should be understood that it refers to the form of the aggregate in this context, not the form of the source. The reason for indicating the number in both cases is that there are many faculties and objects. Because everything is acknowledged to be of the nature of form, and because the aggregate of form is shown through the aspects of the subject and the object, it should be understood that this refers to what is manifestly desired by the eye and so forth, and by forms and so forth. Non-revealing form is shown separately because it is included in the dharma-dhatu, and is not included in the five objects because it is not an object of the five faculties. The word "self" means that which must be grasped, in order to cut off the form included in the dharma-dhatu, which is conjectured by the Sutra school and other schools, other than the non-revealing form. The word "and" is for the purpose of inclusion. The eye and so forth, or what is understood by their consciousnesses, is therefore meaning, meaning to understand. Here it will be shown that there are ten sources and one part of one source. If asked, what is the characteristic of these? Therefore, it is said, "The support of the consciousnesses of those, the eye and so forth, and forms and so forth." Because there is no separation, the word "those" acknowledges what is known in the world, and should be connected with meanings such as form. In the world, there is what is called the wisdom of form, the wisdom of sound, which is from the perspective of the object.
