Apart from the pervasive cause. The co-emergent cause and the corresponding cause are only co-emergent phenomena. The similar cause should be explained according to each situation. The acting cause is as previously stated. The ripening cause and the pervasive cause, as well as apart from the similar cause, because similar to it, it has not previously arisen, and because it is a virtuous dharma, therefore apart from the similar cause, the pervasive cause, and the ripening cause. Here also, the co-emergent cause and the corresponding cause are only co-emergent phenomena. The acting cause is as previously stated. Because the corresponding cause is mentioned, it is known to be mind and mental factors, if it were not so, then for them, the corresponding cause would be mentioned. Apart from the unique corresponding cause, because it is not the nature of mind and mental factors, therefore for them, there is no corresponding cause. Afflicted ones and so forth, others, refer to afflicted ones, as well as those born from ripening, as well as the remaining ones, as well as stainless phenomena. Among them, afflicted ones refer to, the form of afflicted ones and the non-corresponding formations of afflicted ones, apart from the four causes of corresponding cause and ripening cause. Those born from ripening refer to, adding the four causes apart from the corresponding cause and the pervasive cause, they are the form born from ripening and the corresponding phenomena born from ripening. The remaining ones are born from three causes, the remaining form and non-corresponding conduct, apart from the ripening cause, the corresponding cause, and the pervasive cause, the remaining co-emergent cause, similar cause, and the acting cause, these three causes are born from. The initial stainless is born from two causes, the initial stainless form and non-corresponding conduct, are born from the acting cause and the co-emergent cause. There is no dharma born from one cause, co-emergent and

Now, in order to prevent confusion between the causes of causes, and because it does not depend on the cause acting together, it would fall into the fault of arising at all times. Previously, when it was said that causes and conditions do not exist, birth is neither what is born nor what causes birth. Regarding what was said, if the causes are explained from the perspective of number, self-nature, and result, then now it is necessary to explain the conditions, self-nature, and function. Therefore, the question is asked, what are the conditions? Conditions are said to be fourfold. The question is asked, from where is it said? Is it said from the Sutra Pitaka or from the Abhidharma Pitaka? Therefore, it is said "from the Sutra Pitaka." This will be explained as follows: it is explained solely by the Bhagavan, and not by those of the Abhidharma Pitaka. Similar condition is the condition itself. Here, explaining with the condition of things is taking the similar proximate cause. Although all natures are different, they do not go beyond the condition of things, thinking that they rely on the four categories of conditions. The so-called "cause" is the five causes. Regarding what is said, the causal condition is only five, but the five are not the only causal condition. Because they do not understand those, it is said that apart from the acting cause. If asked how to know that the acting cause is not a causal condition? Because it comes from the treatise, in the treatise it says what is the causal condition? It is said that all conditioned dharmas, because unconditioned dharmas are not mentioned, it can be determined that the causal condition is those five causes. Mind and mental events that arise, not the last, similar immediately preceding. Regarding what is said, because mind and mental events are mentioned, by clarifying that they are related to form and unconditioned phenomena, it should be known that only mind and mental events are the similar immediately preceding condition, but the similar immediately preceding condition itself is not. Mind and mental events are of two kinds, namely the last and the non-last. The last refers to those after which mind and mental events no longer arise, such as when an Arhat enters complete Nirvana. The non-last refers to those after which
