Those who possess the attainment of being free from attachment to the peak of existence, and who possess it, are those who finally abandon all attainments. The second is that which is initially attained by completely falling away from being free from attachment to the peak of existence. The third is in the remaining states of not being free from attachment to the peak of existence. The fourth is excluding those aspects, namely, the term "not fallen away from being free from attachment to the peak of existence." The mention of "obscured and unspecified" refers to connecting it with the afflictions to be abandoned by cultivation, which are practiced in the form and formless realms. The "unobscured and unspecified" should be connected with the subsequent words, that is, where the meaning is understood by the subsequent interrogative words, it is connected with the subsequent words. For example, whatever is temporarily given is also held, because the unobscured and unspecified cause of equal strength exists until one is not completely liberated from suffering. There are also cases of holding without giving, namely, the final aggregates of an Arhat. Because at that time, it necessarily arises from all the aggregates, there is no result of a similar cause, only holding, not giving. In terms of ascertainment with an object, it is each moment. Previously, it was said that those who attain without an object, and in the continuum as the cause of equal strength. Now, it is said that the mind and mental factors with an object, and each moment as the cause of equal strength. Following a virtuous mind, it means that when a virtuous mind arises, and that virtuous mind is regarded as the result of a similar cause, it does not arise after that, so the result is only holding, not giving. The second is the opposite, that is, when a virtuous mind manifests after an afflicted and unspecified one, then the previously ceased virtuous mind is only giving, not holding, because it has already been held. The fourth is excluding those aspects, that is, when afflictions follow afflictions or non-virtue

Or, when manifesting the unspecified, because the virtuous mind has been previously held, it does not grasp the fruit, and because the mind of a different kind is interrupted, it is also not born. The non-virtuous and so on should also be applied in the same way. The first statement is, when a virtuous or unspecified mind manifests after a non-virtuous mind. The second is the opposite. The third is when only non-virtue arises after a non-virtuous mind. The fourth is when a virtuous or unspecified mind manifests after a virtuous or unspecified mind. The co-equal cause of the obscured unspecified and the unobscured unspecified should also be applied in the same way. The statement "one is produced by the past" means only by the past, not just one by the past, therefore it is said that "the cause of maturation only produces the fruit from the past." Why? It is said that "this is not simultaneous or immediate maturation," the cause of maturation depends on the continuum. Because it relies on this, it is the basis. The fruit of the basis is the fruit of the basis, that is, whatever relies on whatever, that is its fruit. The fruit of application is the fruit of application, such as from the recollection of the unattractive to the auspiciousness of non-birth. Other applications should also be applied in the same way. Mentioning the unattractive is for the purpose of example here. The fruit of accumulation is the fruit of accumulation. The fruit of cultivation is the fruit of cultivation. Some say that the fruit of the basis is included in the fruit of the lord. Others say that everything is included in the action of the person and the fruits of the lord. Among them, the so-called "what dharma" etc. is explained extensively, the dharmas are many, and it is not possible to explain each one in detail, so everything is established as the four aggregates. Therefore, it is said that, in short, these four aspects of dharma alone exist. Afflicted one.

That which is called, refers to non-virtuous things such as desire, as well as obscured and unspecified things, and those that are in accordance with them. That which is called "born from maturation" refers to the nature of the fruits of maturation. The faultless faculties are the patience of knowing the Dharma in suffering and those that are in accordance with it. That which is called unspecified except for maturation, are deportment, the place of craftsmanship, and all transformations. That which is called virtuous, are those with faults and those without faults. Other than what has been said, those born from the remainder are called born from the remainder. That which is called afflicted dharmas, when explained in detail, since maturation is not an afflicted dharma, the cause of maturation is excluded from those born from afflictions. Among them, the mental co-emergent and the mind are the co-emergent cause and the corresponding cause of the mind and mental factors. Similarly, mental factors should also be explained separately. The equal cause is the previously born afflicted dharmas belonging to its own class and ground. The pervasive cause is those previously born in its own ground that pervades. The acting cause is, as appropriate, other than oneself. That which is called "excluding the pervasive cause," the pervasive cause is only for the afflicted, not for the non-afflicted, and since maturation is not afflicted, it prevents the cause of the pervasive cause from being itself. Here too, the co-emergent cause and the corresponding cause are as before. The equal cause is the previously born specified. The cause of maturation is those non-virtuous and virtuous with faults that are the fruits of maturation. The acting cause is as before. That which is called "excluding maturation and the pervasive cause," because it is not maturation, the cause of maturation is excluded, and because it is not afflicted, it pervades.
