then it will not become an obstacle. Whether it exists or not is fine. There is no difference in essence between being able to be an obstacle and not being an obstacle, and not being able to do and not doing, because both are the same in that respect. Although it is not possible to practice, the word "also" is widely used, for example, even if it is not possible to harm, the people in the village will say, "The king has made us happy." This example is the same as the previous one. Therefore, through this example, things that cannot be obstacles, such as nirvana (Sanskrit: nirvāṇa), are also confirmed to be in the state of not being obstacles. Here, for "in general" and so on, whether it is a main cause or a non-main cause, it refers to the cause of things that are different from oneself. The so-called main cause is the cause because it is the cause of the cause. Relying on the cause itself is the cause, because it has the essence of producing things, not just being in the state of not being an obstacle. For example, for the consciousness of the eye, "eye and form" and so on, where the eye is the supporting cause and the form is the place cause. Or, the eye is the condition of the cause, and the form is the condition of the object (Sanskrit: ālambana). For the ear and so on, it should also be expressed in the same way. "Body and food" and so on, should be linked to "having the ability to produce", because the body always arises from food. Just like seedlings and so on, the word "etc." includes seeds, seedlings, leaves, and joints, and so on. Or, the word "etc." refers to fields and so on. Someone thinks that if there is a cause, a result will arise, so a rebuttal is proposed. Why can't everything arise at the same time? Just as the killer relies on killing, why can't everything rely on this? Action

Therefore, which dharmas are the mutual fruits, it is said, because they are mutual causes, and arise simultaneously with the fruit, therefore they are simultaneous arising causes. Precisely because of this, it is said that those are mutual simultaneous arising causes. Because it is impossible to understand without an analogy, the question is asked, for example, what is it like? Here, the objector's meaning is that the meaning of 'like' does not exist, because everything is explained by analogy. Here, not everything is explained by analogy, however, what is approximated by 'like what' also includes what is not explained by analogy. What is that? It is what follows the mind mutually, and the natures mutually. As for the four great elements, even if there is remaining matter, it is still three-in-one, because it does not depend on its own nature, nor does it depend on equal shares of matter. Thus, what is said as 'all conditioned phenomena' is too excessive, so 'as appropriate' is said. This will be shown as follows: everything is a cause of simultaneous arising, but not everything, then what is it? It is as appropriate, explained from the connection. Even without mutual fruits, dharma is, thus widely produced, dharma is primary, so it is of the corresponding natures, those are not its, because they are distant, and because they enter into one dharma. It should be supplemented, what is called 'supplement' is to supplement approximately. Why was the characteristic not made pervasive in that way? Because the treatise says that the simultaneous arising cause is of those that are the same fruit of conditioned dharmas. The treatise does not say that the form that follows the mind is a simultaneous arising of the mind.
