Now to do. Also, as it says "similar to being endowed with birth," it refers to form, feeling, and so on. Regarding "by the conditions other than those," the conditions other than those are different from the conditions that produce form, namely the conditions that produce feeling and so on. "Other than those" is said extensively, referring to other than feeling and so on. What is that? It is form, the conditions such as feeling cannot produce something different from them, similarly, although there is no birth, all the conditions such as form and feeling cannot produce unconditioned phenomena such as space. Previously, it was explained from the perspective of determining self-nature, now it is from the perspective of determining ability. The Vaibhashikas say, and so on, from where? From the scriptures, as it says: "Bhikkhu, you are born moment by moment, you also age moment by moment, and you also die moment by moment." Thus it is said. This is also what the commentator said to others: If in each moment, the body does not change, and the external environment has no difference, how can one grasp the difference? And so on. Therefore, the characteristics such as birth exist moment by moment. Also, saying "there is a deer" and so on, because for the refuter, it is relying on the established tenets to abandon. For example, saying "there is a deer," it is not that it does not cultivate wheat, but through understanding the two negations, one knows that the real meaning is cultivation. Also, like saying "there is a bee," it is not that it does not collect honey, then what is it? It only collects honey. Similarly, for the refuter, saying "there is," it is not that one can abandon the sutras, but that one cannot abandon the Abhidharma. Therefore, for faults and so on, one should also answer, and for arguments that contradict one's own tenets, one should strive to think of an answer, and one should also follow the established tenets. The characteristics have been explained, how were they explained? The characteristics are birth, aging, abiding, and impermanence, thus it was said.

The collection of names, etc., is called "etc." The collection of names is the collection of names. The collection of words is the collection of speech. The collection of letters is the collection of letters. Among them, naming is the name, called "etc." Naming is naming, that is, naming what. Name, called various names. For example, worldly speakers say, "This is the naming called Deva-datta." Naming also refers to form, sound, etc. Speech is words, called "etc." Because it enables understanding and comprehension, it is words. Because it has no scope. Therefore, it is said, "How much can make the meaning completely fulfilled." For example: "Alas, all conditioned things are impermanent!" is called "etc." "Alas, all conditioned things are impermanent!" This is the proposition. "They are subject to arising and ceasing." This is the reason. "Even with the initial limit, it becomes the reason. For example: Likes the child who protects the country. Just like that, it means liking the child." "When arising and ceasing cease, liberation is bliss." This is the example. Whatever arises will perish. For example, like pots, etc. Conditioned things are also the same. "These cessations are happiness." This is the result of valid cognition. By what can the differences of action, quality, and time relation be understood? What is called having the ending of sub and ting is not a word. Among them, what shows the difference related to action is "speak," "recite," "go." "White," "black" shows the difference related to quality. "Cook," "will cook," "cooked" shows the difference related to time. Because how much can make the meaning completely fulfilled appears. A letter is a letter, called "etc." Here, or by this, names and words become clear, so it is a letter. For example, like "A," "Ah," etc., this is an illustration. Because they generate the names of letters ka, etc., there, and understand through symbols from hearing them.
