Where can it be that there is no birth? It is not. Therefore, for the dharma that has already arisen, the action of abiding and so on is taking place in the present. Therefore, when does birth and so on occur? For the time being, here, what is called "what" is widely occurring, the future is not something that exists as a substance, it is only that, if it does not exist, how can there be future birth? Since the future does not exist, it is thought that what should arise will arise. Even if the future exists as a substance, if there is no action of birth, what is called "no," is widely occurring, what has not obtained action is the future, what is taking action is the present, what has disappeared is the past, in this way time exists separately. If the action of birth is taking place, how can it be accomplished in the future? Because future time has no action of a person, it is thought that it will certainly not be accomplished. If the action that is taking place that exists as a substance is the future, then the characteristic of the future should also be stated. What is called "occurrence is also the disappearance of action," is widely occurring, if it is thought that what has disappeared is the past, if in the present stage the action of birth disappears, it will also become the past, and not the present. If abiding and so on also enter into action simultaneously, what is called "is widely occurring," for the dharma that has already arisen, the present abiding and so on are promised to be taking action, therefore those will be promised to enter into action simultaneously. Therefore, in just one instant, all dharmas will change. What is called "what is this great," is widely occurring, the actions of abiding, aging, and destruction are mutually contradictory, for the dharma, it is both abiding and destruction, it is not appropriate to separately establish it in this way. What is called "what is this time," is widely occurring, because abiding and so on are mutually contradictory, it is thought that there is no action in the present either. What is called "whatever is birth and so on," just as what has already arisen will not arise again, if there is no abiding, there will be no aging, if there is no aging, there will be no destruction, therefore, if it is said that abiding and so on also take action in sequence, then according to that statement, it will harm the instant itself. What is called an instant, is time

If everything is smaller than it, then it exists here, and because it does not perish in old age, it exists in three moments, thus harming the moment itself. However, if it appears extensively like this, a moment refers to the time when birth, abiding, change, and destruction are all completely accomplished. If someone says that it does not perish immediately after being born, then even so, it appears extensively like this: from arising together with them, things that arise together cannot do things in succession, because there is no difference between prior and later, and because the causes that do things together have no difference. There, it is also the previously existing that does things, and not aging and impermanence themselves. What reason is there for this statement? "Existence has power" This is stating the reason, because it has power, it obstructs the actions of aging and impermanence themselves, and does its own thing. Why does it later become powerless? To this question, there is no reason to say that due to what, together with this dharma, existence will be destroyed by impermanence itself, existence later becomes weak. Therefore, the actions of existence and so on, either exist together immediately after being born, or if one wants the action of having power earlier, then it will only be the action of impermanence itself. Because of doing things, it appears extensively like this, this states the cause of not having power, existence that has not done things, due to aging and impermanence themselves, is powerful, but having done things, it cannot do things again, just like birth. Therefore, later it will be destroyed by impermanence itself together with the dharma. It is reasonable that birth cannot do this, this shows that the example and meaning are not consistent with the dharma. Birth is only taken now, and cannot be taken again in the future. Therefore, here, things that have already done things, also have no ability to do things again. There is no reason for existence to not do things after having done things, because existence must exist, and also must
