of. It is not existence itself, nor is it good or non-good itself, it should be understood in this way. Conditioned phenomena are those that are made by the aggregation of causes and conditions. If, because it is not existence, arising and so on are also established on the continuum as momentary, and cannot be manifested, then who would say that arising and so on do not exist? It is only said that it does not exist as you distinguish it, but it is not said that it does not exist completely. Thus, if the arising of the continuum is what? What is destruction? What is abiding and changing, should be said. Therefore, it is explained in detail that the object of the continuum is arising. So, what is the continuum? It is the cause and effect, the time is not contradictory, the place is not interrupted, whatever is said and held as one, for example, the person in the state of being young, etc., and the seed in the state of sprouts, etc. It is not other than the imputed close taking, nor is it non-other, because it would become substantially existent. Nor is it non-existent, because the two truths are promised. We believe that conventional truth and ultimate truth exist. The first of the continuum is also arising, the so-called first is the first moment, because the continuum starts from then on. What appears as "born where" is the first, as it is said in the sutra: "What is birth? The first birth of aggregates, elements, and sources is birth." Cessation is destruction, the so-called continuum, is connected to the continuum, the previous moment is destroyed, and the latter moment is not connected, is destruction, as it is said in the sutra: "What is death? Sentient beings die and transfer from that category." The so-called continuum follows, so what is following? The continuum following is when the previous moment is destroyed, the latter moment obtains itself with the latter. That

It is the before and after of abiding. The difference between cause and effect is that abiding changes into other states. The meaning of "constant" is added to everything, because it is the right time. Or, the difference between the former and the latter is the meaning of the difference between the moment of cause and the effect. Therefore, the reason why it is said that constancy follows is abiding, or that birth, etc., are the nature of constancy, not the nature of the moment. Son of the lineage, the feeling of joy is truly known, which is extensively explained. The moment of truly knowing cannot abide from the later time, because it is a moment. The substance of thorns, at the time of birth, abiding, and destruction, is not something that can be known by one mind, and because it has not been promised to act on its own essence, there is no knowledge of its own nature. If one admits to knowing what has appeared, then what would others say to the joyful one? Therefore, the Blessed One only spoke from the perspective of constancy, saying, "Son of the lineage, the feeling of joy arises with true knowledge," not from the moment. In order to express the meaning of what was said earlier with two verses, it is said, "The first of constancy is birth," and everything is just understanding the meaning. The meaning of cessation is the same as before here. Regarding "abiding that," if constancy is abiding, then "that" refers to constancy itself. Regarding "the difference between before and after," the former is the cause, and the latter is the effect, meaning that a different kind of effect arises from the cause. "Arising from what was not before is birth," meaning that the meaning lies in this. Explaining with other names, it means "arising from what was not before is birth," which means arising from what did not exist. The meaning of constant abiding is the same as before. "That cessation is destruction" is constant cessation. Regarding "the dharma of the moment," this is extensively explained. The dharma of the moment is destroyed without abiding, therefore abiding is admitted here. Dharma is also without abiding.
