Ro! The form of the Non-conscious Beings is the fruition of the attainment of non-consciousness. Because those of a different class cannot project rebirth. The attainment of non-mind, is not a projector, etc., will be explained. That which is of the same class as the faculty of life is the fruition of the fourth meditative concentration together with mind, and the remaining aggregates of that place are of both. Like a special meditative concentration, for example, just as those gods in whose direction some great Brahmas abide in the most excellent way are called "Brahma's Forerunners," so here also, in one direction of the great fruition, the non-conscious beings abide, and that place is the most excellent. From among them, by what is it projected as being of the same class, by what mind is it connected, and by what mind does one enter into non-consciousness at the end? Actions, births, and similarities are those that possess the food of the immediately preceding cause. Therefore, their contacts, etc., are together with food. For those who have entered into meditative absorption, the function of food is performed by the contacts, etc., from the food previously eaten, but not from relying on what is near at the present time. For those with mind, it is in both ways. Do they never become conscious? This is explained in detail. Because the state of non-mind is the majority, they are called non-conscious beings. For it is said in the sutra that those beings, having arisen in consciousness, will transmigrate from that place. "For a long time" means not for a single instant. They become conscious at the time of birth and at the time of death. Having died, they will only be born in the desire realm. Because the previous meditative concentration is completely exhausted, the meaning is that it is completely exhausted when projected by the mind of his meditative concentration. It appears that previously there was no accumulation, and without mind and mental factors, actions, etc., are not close, etc., because the action of intention and thought appears. In the desire realm.

If asked, what is the cause for being born there? Therefore, the phrase "whoever is born there" is explained in detail. Just as those beings with unpleasant sounds in the north are born as gods, so too, beings without consciousness are certain to experience the realm of desire. Furthermore, regarding the statement about "samadhi," from where is it said? It is from the Sutra of Manifestation: "Attainment and non-attainment are equal, and there is unconscious samadhi." Since it has already been explained that unconscious samadhi is the cause of unconsciousness, the question is asked: What is unconscious samadhi? The word "similarly" is explained because it is related: Just as from what, the mind and mental factors cease, that is called unconscious. Similarly, unconscious samadhi. The samadhi of the unconscious is unconscious samadhi, that is, those who enter into that samadhi. Because it is unconscious, it is combined with samadhi, and because there is no consciousness in this, it is unconscious samadhi. Also, because one correctly enters samadhi, it is unconscious samadhi, and correctly proving with reason is samadhi. Others say that because the mind and the four great elements are equally proven, it is samadhi. The word "similarly" means that it is only similar to a certain extent, which means that the word "similarly" only indicates similarity in a general sense, not in a specific sense. Both are equally the nature of the obstruction of future mind and mental factors, and for that very reason, it is said that "this is also the cessation of mind and mental factors." It appears in "the final dhyana," which is encompassed by the four dhyanas. Mentioning the four dhyanas is to clearly distinguish them from other dhyanas and the formless realm. Ordinary beings enter into dhyana and the formless realm because they are attached to feelings, but there are no feelings there, so the question is asked:
