Similar things will also be shown to be not obvious and not the object of inference. The kinds of sentient beings will also be understood to be not different, because the term "sentient being, sentient being" is seen to be used. If the cause of non-differentiating wisdom is not grasped, then for sentient beings that are mutually distinct, the use of non-differentiating wisdom and sound, it is not seen that there is any function. Even if it is allowed that there is something that has not been completely determined, it will be asked what kind of work it will do. If it is seen and completely explained, it will become the cause of understanding that the kinds are not different, then it will function on it. Furthermore, why not accept the common fate of non-sentient beings? This will be explained in detail. If for sentient beings that are mutually distinct, the use of non-differentiating wisdom and attachment is the cause of common fate. Then, for rice and other things that are not considered sentient beings, commonality should also be admitted, because for those things that are mutually distinct, non-differentiating wisdom and attachment such as "rice, rice" are also used. However, if it is not accepted because the Blessed One did not say it, then it should not be said that for different sentient beings, the existence of non-differentiating wisdom and attachment is the cause of common fate. The teacher Good Assembly says that common fate refers to the cause of the bodies, senses, shapes, movements, and food, etc. of those sentient beings who are born in the same category, and is also the cause of the connection of mutual joy. When it is said why not accept the common fate of non-sentient beings, you have already accepted life forms such as plants, then why not accept the life forms of radishes and bean pods? If it is not because the Blessed One did not say it, then the common fate of non-sentient beings is also not accepted, because the Blessed One did not say it. That's all. The statement that common fate is mutually distinct will be explained in detail. For things that are mutually distinct in common fate, even if there is no other common fate, how can the common fate

If it is said, "It is the nature of decline, it is the nature of commonality," thus establishing it without distinction, then for those that are mutually distinct, there should also be no commonality. Why not establish them as sentient beings, sentient beings? If that were the case, it would be what the Vaibhashikas have clarified. This is said in an unreasonable way, because "existence" and "commonality" are different names. The way of reasoning is not obstructed; the way in which worldly people say, "There is a future life," etc., is not something we exclude as being contradictory. Saying, "Although it is one, it enters into many," etc., this is the meaning of the general statement, because there is no difference as a sign of existence. It is said that for distinct things, with non-different cognition, it is clarified by examining other reasons. That other reason is also not existent; similarly, here also, the other reason, commonality, is not existent. The Vaibhashikas say that commonality is only existent. From what is it said? The Blessed One also said that in a hundred people, sharing the same commonality with people, it will be like that; such an aspect is like that, its entity is just like that. Although it was said like that, it was not said, "It is another substance." If so, what is it? Whatever becomes the cause of establishing beings as humans, etc., those that are distinct only by the difference of aspects such as shape, etc., are like the commonality of rice, etc. Saying, "Non-conceptual, non-conceptual," etc., is to distinguish between cessation and the non-conceptual attainment. For this reason, it is said in detail, "Among the gods of the non-conceptual realm," etc. Obstructing mind and mental factors, saying "From what?" etc., is the remainder of the statement. Or, by this entity, mind and mental factors are obstructed, therefore it is obstruction. For this reason, it is said in detail, "By what does it obstruct the mind and mental factors of the future time?" Saying, "It is of one kind of maturation," is to distinguish between what arises from increase and what arises from a similar cause.
