Yes. What is attained by all three of these (pudgalas) is also the same for Śrāvakas and others. Therefore, the question is: Of which ones? Therefore, it is explained: One who has not attained everything is called an ordinary being. If that is the case, it will become the same fault, meaning that if one who has not attained everything is an ordinary being, then the Buddha, too, would become a non-ārya because he does not possess the lineage of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, which is what was said before. The answer is also the same, meaning what is that which is not attained? Starting from the word 'then it is necessary to remove 'only''. It is not necessary to remove it, because even single words must be determined. Then, because there is no difference from what was said before, the effort will become meaningless. If it is arranged here by completely eliminating the faults mentioned before, then the fault of Śrāvakas and others not being āryas still remains here. If you also want the answer that there is no fault here, then in that case, it is possible for the kṣāntiḥ of dharmakṣāntiḥ in suffering and those that arise simultaneously with it, but not for others, then this effort will become meaningless. 'The non-arising of ārya dharmas' will be explained in detail. Because of the phrase 'Which ārya dharmas have not arisen in the continuum are ordinary beings', here too, as before, Śrāvakas and others are not āryas, or the effort will become meaningless. If it is said that there is no meaningless effort here, because it has other meanings. Because the continuum is mentioned, it is said in order to show that ordinary beings exist only nominally, and not other dharmas, not in order to eliminate the previous fault. In the phrase 'Obtaining it and the transfer of ground, there is transformation', from obtaining it and the transfer of ground, there will be transformation, the transfer of ground refers to the transfer from arising from the realm and the ground. The path of obtaining it, by what dharma it is obtained, that is transformed from obtaining it, temporarily just as an ordinary being is the non-attainment of the ārya path, obtaining it, that three realms also transform.

Decline will occur. It also happens from a shift in grounds. Why is that? Because the individual nature of each person declines. For example, when someone is free from desire in the desire realm, at that time, their individual nature belonging to that desire, and the desire for aspiration focused on it, will be abandoned by giving up, but it will not decline. When someone shifts grounds by being born in the first dhyana, at that time, this one's nature declines, but it is not abandoned, because it has already been abandoned. Nor does it become higher, because one has obtained the individual nature of the first dhyana ground. Similarly, for shifting from the first ground to higher realms, it should also be explained in detail. For others, it should be applied in the same way. Just as by obtaining the path, the individual nature declines, so too by obtaining other things, those not yet obtained will decline. How so? For example, in the desire realm, the attainments associated with conduct, and those arising from thought, and in the form realm, the attainments associated with hearing, and those arising from meditation, and in the formless realm, those arising from meditation, the unobtained of these will decline upon obtaining them. And the unobtained of those included by the aggregates of higher realms will decline upon being born in a higher realm. Similarly, the unobtained of those obtained from the arising of virtue, and appropriately, from the forbearance of knowing the Dharma of suffering up to the state of arhatship, the undefiled ones, will decline upon obtaining them. Likewise, the unobtained arhatship of liberation in conjunction with time, and liberation not in conjunction with time, will also decline upon obtaining it. Because one does not understand decline, therefore it is said that it will decline, this is what is said. Because of the fear of falling into endless fallacy, the question is asked: What about the unobtained and the obtained, and so forth? The "also" of both refers to both. Because the obtaining of the unobtained will be explained, therefore there is obtaining of the unobtained. Because the cessation of the obtained leads to the arising of the unobtained, therefore there is also unobtained of the obtained. Therefore, both
