It is also like that. For the unlabelled and unspecified, according to the circumstances, from any of the results of maturation, etc., there are twelve kinds, namely the ten omnipresent mental factors, investigation, and analysis. In "Investigation also in superior samadhi," the word "also" indicates the absence of regret, sleep, and non-virtue. In "The rest are the same as this," for the virtuous mind, as before, except for investigation, twenty-one mental factors arise. Corresponding to the unmixed and views, except for investigation itself, there are seventeen kinds. Corresponding to attachment, etc., and corresponding to any of deceit, etc., there are eighteen kinds that arise, namely the seventeen mentioned earlier, as well as any of attachment, etc., and deceit, etc. For the unlabelled and unspecified, there are eleven kinds, namely the ten omnipresent mental factors and analysis. In "Above that, there is also analysis," the word "also" indicates the absence of regret, sleep, and non-virtue. The word "again" indicates the absence of cunning and illusion. The rest are the same as this. How is it? Temporarily, for virtue, except for investigation and analysis, twenty mental factors arise. For the unmixed, unlabelled and unspecified, and corresponding to views, there are sixteen kinds. Corresponding to afflictions such as attachment, and corresponding to near afflictions, there are seventeen kinds. For the unlabelled and unspecified, only the ten omnipresent mental factors arise. There is the saying, "Until Brahma, there is cunning," because cunning is the precursor to illusion, so illusion is also included. If it is said that Brahma has already separated from desire, why is there still cunning? The answer is because it is related to retinue. Precisely because of this, because there is no retinue, there is no cunning in the second dhyana, etc., above Brahma. Like this, there are eight kinds of retinue, namely: the retinue of the royal family, the retinue of Brahma, the retinue of the Brahmins, the retinue of the householders, the retinue of the ascetics, the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the retinue of the Thirty-three Gods, and the retinue of Mara. Above the world of Brahma, the retinue is not mentioned.

That. Therefore, there is no connection with the cycle of existence there. If asked, how is it known that there is movement because of the connection with the cycle of existence there? Therefore, it is said that it is in its own cycle, which is extensively explained. If one wants to completely abandon the exhaustion in the cycle of pus and blood, then the great elements that arise in the formless realm will completely cease. However, since one has not attained its samadhi, if one does not know, one will speak empty words. Saying "Brahma," and again saying "Great Brahma," is to know that it is superior to other Brahmas. Isvara. The agent is what is said later and later. Where is the mind, is extensively explained. There are three grounds: the ground with investigation and analysis, the ground without investigation but only analysis, and the ground without investigation and without analysis. In these three grounds, which mind and how many mental factors are equally present have been extensively explained. Or, it is combined with the grounds of samadhi and non-samadhi, or with the ten grounds of special meditative concentration. Now, from the scriptures, some mental factors will be extensively explained. Because their own nature is similar, it is not easy to understand their differences. Therefore, in order to show it well, the differences mentioned in the scriptures should be spoken. Question: Why is it said that it appears in the scriptures? Answer: Because some worldly people and Buddhists both acknowledge that both are of the nature to be avoided. Question: What is the difference? Answer: What is the difference? Disrespect and shamelessness are extensively explained. Qualities, etc., are discipline, samadhi, and wisdom. To those who have qualities means to those who are perfect in rituals and conduct. Disrespecting people like Khenpos is disrespect. Because there is no respect for this, it is disrespect. Its entity is disrespect, which is the dharma of mental factors. The one without respect, the one who has power over the disciple, is respect, like the master or the position of the master. Because there is no respect for this, it is without respect. Its entity is without respect.

Because it possesses the state of controlling with fear, it is called controlling with fear. The absence of controlling with fear is not controlling with fear, and its essence is the very absence of controlling with fear. The so-called fear is a mental dharma arising from the mind, produced by the mind. Because there is no conceptualization, there is no fear in the five aggregates of consciousness. For lamas and those similar to lamas, if there is respect, there will be fear towards them; without respect, it is not so. Being with fear will also be controlled; not being afraid is not. If asked, how does fear arise towards lamas or places like the position of lamas? It is out of fear that disrespecting them will become non-dharma. Here, disrespect is not merely the absence of respect, nor is it anything else. What is it then? It is a dharma that is incompatible with respect, another mental dharma that has become an obstacle to respect. Shamelessness: not looking at misdeeds and fear. The so-called "not considering misdeeds" refers to what should not be spoken. Therefore, it is said, "The so-called 'not considering misdeeds' refers to what is condemned by the noble ones," which is repeated rebuke and abandonment. Not looking at the fear of that condemnation and the maturation of undesirable results is shamelessness. If asked, is the so-called fear known as being afraid of the world? Therefore, it is said, "Here, fear refers to unwanted results," not being afraid of yakshas and so on. If asked, how is it fear? Therefore, it is said, "Because fear will arise from this." If one looks without fear, then since looking is a type of wisdom, it will be understood as wisdom. If one does not look at fear as an unwanted result, then it will be understood as ignorance, because not looking is a type of ignorance. The so-called reason for that is the two: looking and not looking. There are some dharmas called near afflictions that are the cause of the pervasive operation of knowledge and wrong views, and that is shamelessness, that is, there is no doubt about the pervasive operation of misdeeds.
