The one that changes is described in reliance on the former and the latter. Therefore, for example, a woman is called a mother, and also called a daughter, which is an example. For example, for the same woman, in relation to the daughter, she can be called a mother, and in relation to the mother, she can be called a daughter, which is dependent on the former and the latter, not through other entities. To refute the views of the Samkhyas, this means refuting the views of the Samkhyas themselves, because the views of the Samkhyas have already been refuted. Secondly, the venerable Dbyangs Sgrog will also confuse time, because what is recognized in the past time will also become the present and the future. If asked how this happens, then the past has the characteristic of the past, and the characteristics of the future and the present are not without, but are fully possessed. The future also has the characteristic of the future, and the characteristics of the past and the present are not without. The present also has the characteristic of the present, and the characteristics of the past and the future are not without. Therefore, since each possesses all three characteristics, it will become the past, the future, and the present. Similarly, it should also be applied to the future and the present. What is similar here? Just as a person possesses only one characteristic, does a thing have only one characteristic and not the other two? Why is it exemplified in this way? Therefore, there is no similarity. The fourth "also" refers to the venerable Buddha Deva. "One time will become all three times," this is because only in one past time, there is a distinction between the former and the latter moments. Among them, the former and the latter moments are the past and the future respectively. The former moment is the past, the middle moment is the present, and the latter moment is the future, therefore the past time will become all three times. The Vaibhashikas said: "Therefore, among all these, the third is the best." If asked why it is the best, the answer is: Just like this,

It is about actions, distinguishing various times. Actions, such as the actions of the eyes, are seeing, etc. Forms, etc., are also the objects of their respective senses. If that is the case, the detailed explanation of this statement is, if distinguished by actions, then what action is similar to the eye? If the characteristic of an action is not performing its own function, then it is similar to the eye. If it also does not have the action of the characteristic of seeing, then how could it be happening now? This is what is being contemplated. Producing and holding fruits means that the eye both holds and throws out fruits of its own kind, and also produces fruits, ultimately producing fruits of its own kind or producing a person. Even if it does not perform the action of seeing, it performs other fruits, because it has the production and holding of fruits, so it is distinguished as happening now. Forty-first fascicle. Those past things with equal share causes, etc., the word 'etc.' also includes the ripening cause, etc. Because it is said in the sutra: the present and the past, one is produced by the past. Because there is doing through the way of producing fruits, it will fall into the fallacy of having doing. Therefore, those with equal share causes, etc., also have actions like the present, so they will fall into the present, thus leading to confusion of characteristics. If you say that whatever has both holding and producing fruits is the present, and whatever has one is not the present. Therefore, it is said that half of the action is related to the situation of falling into fallacy. It will fall into the fallacy of having half an action, that is, those past things are half present, it will fall into this fallacy. Those past things, because the action of the characteristic of holding fruits has disappeared, so they also have the characteristic of the past, and because they produce present fruits, they also have the characteristic of the present, which is the fault of confusing characteristics. Wanting to regard the past, etc., as characteristics, what has disappeared is the past, what has not been obtained is the future, what has been obtained but has not disappeared is the present.
