It is said, because I do not cling to myself. Those and what together? Occurs, except for universal attainment. Called feelings and so on. Those who have attained are not like that, because the results are not the same. Called those who have attained and those who possess it are not the same as the ripened result, nor the same cause. Therefore, the attainments of universally existing dharmas are not established as universally existing. Therefore, it is called what, because things that occur together are also considered to be universally existing, so it should be divided into four parts. The first part is the subtle universally existing in the future. Called these are the essence of universally existing. The cause of universally existing is not universally existing, because in the future situation, the cause of universally existing will not be distinguished. The second part is the co-occurring things that have occurred in the past and present. Called things that co-occur with universally existing things have occurred in the past and present, so they are the cause of universally existing. It is not a subtle universally existing, because it is not the essence of subtle. The third and fourth parts should be combined. The third part is the subtle universally existing that has occurred in the past and present. The fourth part is other than those forms, those future and attainments that occur with them, and so on. Six are the realms of the unpolluted. Called six are definite, because like this, it is not desire, because it is to be abandoned. Not harming, so it is not hatred. And so on occur, because desire and so on should not be aimed at the unpolluted. Called ignorance that is similar to them refers to what is similar to wrong views and doubts, and the unmixed ignorance, that is the subtle of ignorance, is one. The three that are to be abandoned by seeing cessation, aiming at the unpolluted, and similarly, the three that are to be abandoned by seeing the path, also exist in the sixth ground. Called that is the object of its realm.

These have objects because there are cessations and paths, so they are those with objects. For these, there are three kinds of objects in order: the object is the cessation of each, that is, the cessation of one's own ground. For the path, the sixth ground corresponding to the category of knowledge of dharma, and the ninth ground corresponding to the category of subsequent knowledge, are the objects of the other three subtle distinctions of those with path objects. How is it understood? The subtle distinctions with cessation as their object, from the desire realm to the peak of existence, are the ninth ground. For these, the object of those who operate in the desire realm is only the cessation of the dharma that operates in the desire realm. Similarly, the object of those in the first dhyana ground is also only the cessation of the dharma of the first dhyana ground, and so on until the object of those at the peak of existence is only the cessation of the dharma of those at the peak of existence. The path, that is, the uninterrupted path corresponding to the category of knowledge of dharma, and the ground of special meditative concentration, and the sixth ground from the first dhyana to the fourth dhyana ground, all these are only the objects of the three subtle distinctions that operate in the desire realm. The uninterrupted path corresponding to the category of subsequent knowledge, and special meditative concentration, the four dhyanas, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the ground of the sphere of nothingness, that is, all these nine grounds, are only the objects of the subtle distinctions of those in the first dhyana ground, and so on until the object of those at the peak of existence. Furthermore, why is it that the object of these object-holders, cessation, is only their own ground, and the path, that is, the sixth ground or the ninth ground, is also their object? In order to explain the reason for this, it is said, "The path is the cause of each other." How is it the cause of each other? The path corresponding to the category of knowledge of dharma, that is, the sixth ground, is the cause of the path of others corresponding to the category of knowledge of dharma, the lower, or the higher, or the equal, or the special, and also the cause corresponding to the category of subsequent knowledge, and the ninth ground corresponding to the category of subsequent knowledge should also be combined as only its cause. To explain this in detail, the path of the nine grounds is
