Those who contemplate on the extremes and hold to the view of permanence, when the eternalists focus on the self and the world, they focus on the desire realm. Thus, it is said that views focused on the desire realm universally arise. Similarly, in the Brahma-jala Sutra, it is said that among those who contemplate on the past, some eternalists, for those who are free from desire, views focused on the desire realm universally arise. What is it like? Monks, when the world decays and the world is destroyed, most sentient beings will be reborn in the realm of the gods of clear light, where they will have beautiful forms, be born of mind, have no incomplete faculties, be without inferiority, be endowed with all limbs and features, abide in beautiful colors, possess their own light, travel in the sky, eat joy, eat joy as food, be long-lived, and abide for a long time. Such a time exists. Monks, when the world forms and the world arises, an empty Brahma palace will manifestly appear in the sky. Then, any sentient being, having exhausted their lifespan, exhausted their merit, and exhausted their karma, will die and transmigrate from the realm of the gods of clear light and be born in the empty Brahma palace. There, they will be alone, without a companion, without a servant, long-lived, and abide for a long time. Then, after a long time has passed, that sentient being becomes unhappy and develops a craving, thinking, 'How wonderful it would be if other sentient beings were also born here equal to me!' That sentient being also wishes in their mind in this way. Other sentient beings, having exhausted their lifespan, exhausted their merit, and exhausted their karma, die and transmigrate from the realm of the gods of clear light and are born equal to that sentient being. Then, that sentient being thinks, 'I am alone, without a companion, without a servant, long-lived,' from 'How wonderful it would be if other sentient beings were also born here equal to me!' up to that point, they also wish in their mind in this way. These sentient beings are also born here equal to me, these sentient beings are emanated by me, I am the lord of these sentient beings, the creator, the emanator, the giver, the cause of giving, and the objects.

they will think, 'It is the cause of things.' Those beings will also think, 'We see this being alone, without companion or attendant, living long and enduring for a long time.' When that being has passed a long time and becomes unhappy, they will develop a desire: 'How wonderful if other beings were born here with me, equal to me!' That being also wishes so in their mind. We are also born here equal to this being, so we are emanated by this being. This being is our master, and even the cause of things.' They will think like that. Then, any one of those beings, having exhausted their lifespan, exhausted their merit, and exhausted their karma, will die and transmigrate from that place. They will be born equal to humans in that way. They gradually grow up, their senses fully mature, they shave their hair and beard, wear clothes of changed color, and with faith, they go forth from home to homelessness. Whether they live in a monastery or under a tree, from "dwelling" onwards, until it is described in detail how "in what way they remember their former body, they will touch such a peaceful samadhi." They will think: 'Who is the Brahma who emanated us? He is of the nature of permanence, stability, eternity, and immutability.' We who are emanated by that Brahma are of the nature of impermanence, instability, non-eternity, and changeability.' They will think like that. Such times also exist. Therefore, the view of clinging to extremes also aims at the desire realm. Therefore, it is said that views aimed at the desire realm arise universally. Similarly, in the Brahma Net Sutra itself, it says, "The doctrine of arising from no cause is from thoughts of the past extreme." Connect this with the context. For those who are free from desire, it is also said that views aimed at the desire realm arise universally. For example, in the form realm, there are gods called "without perception." Those beings generate perception,
