If it is said, what is to be abandoned because of the distinction that has been made? Those are to be abandoned through cultivation, and this should be connected to the context. Thus, cultivation is habituation, meaning to generate repeatedly. What are those like? They are the four afflictions, such as desire, which are constant, namely desire, anger, pride, and ignorance, which were just mentioned. Moreover, these are to be abandoned through seeing, and these are to be abandoned through cultivation, and it is difficult to completely distinguish them. It is not because of contemplating on the aggregates of destruction, etc., but those who wrongly enter the truth of suffering are to be abandoned by seeing the truth of suffering. Similarly, those who wrongly enter the path are to be abandoned by seeing the path, because it is easy to completely distinguish them in this way. Among them, "which" refers to desire, etc. "Seeing what" refers to seeing what truth. Because these have the object of abandoning by seeing what, they are those that have the object of abandoning by seeing what. "Those are to be abandoned by seeing it" refers to those desires, etc. "Seeing it" refers to seeing that truth. "To be abandoned by seeing it" means to be abandoned by seeing it, that is, those desires, etc., from abandoning by seeing suffering to the afflictions that are the object of abandoning by seeing the path, those are to be abandoned by seeing it, it is said. The subtle aspects of ignorance also have the four noble truths as their object, so should it be said what is the object of, and what is the object of abandoning by seeing? It is not necessary to say, because it is accomplished through a generalizing method. Because these have afflictions that are the object of abandoning by seeing what truth and seeing what, these are those that have the object of abandoning by seeing what, and those are to be abandoned by seeing it. The subtle aspects of ignorance are universally present, and abandoning by seeing the origin is also the object of all five categories, so suffering and

Isn't it also aimed at things like truths to be abandoned by seeing, such as cessation? Therefore, if it is said that this would become something to be abandoned by seeing truths such as suffering and cessation, then there is no fault. Although it is aimed at all five categories, it is aimed at the aspect of the nature of arising in those categories. Therefore, because it is aimed in that way, it is only something to be abandoned by seeing the origin. Similarly, it should also be applied to what is to be abandoned by seeing suffering. If so, then what? Whatever is called having the object of what is to be abandoned by seeing refers to all that is to be abandoned by seeing, and not just attachment and so on. For those explanations, the answer to the refutation only needs to state those two. If so, in the Abhidharma, the six subtle afflictions that appear in detail are called "those," while the distinction of aspects, differences, and realms refers to the ten subtle afflictions. The distinction of aspects is: self and the eternal and annihilationist views of self, viewing fire and the inferior as supreme, and so on. The distinction of differences is from the category to be abandoned by seeing suffering to the category to be abandoned by meditation. The distinction of realms is acting in the desire realm, acting in the form realm, and acting in the formless realm. Among them, the subtle afflictions of desire have fifteen aspects due to the distinctions of difference and realm. Among them, there is no mutually different aspect. Because all desires are aspects of attachment. Therefore, it is not distinguished by the distinction of aspects. The subtle afflictions of anger have five aspects due to the distinction of difference. There is no mutually different aspect, because everything is an aspect of anger. There is also no distinction of realms, because it does not exist in the form and formless realms. The subtle afflictions of pride have fifteen aspects due to the distinctions of difference and realm. There is no distinction of aspects, because everything is an aspect of arrogance. Similarly, the subtle afflictions of ignorance also have fifteen aspects only with those distinctions. There is no distinction of aspects, because everything is unclear.
