The reason is the misdeeds of body, speech, and mind. The so-called "without antidote" is because there is no antidote like confession. The so-called "unwholesome rejoicing is also unwholesome" refers to rejoicing and praising whatever is done. The so-called "definitely produces a ripened result" is because it increases the characteristics of unwholesomeness. Similarly, this should also be applied to virtuous deeds. The so-called "What is intentional action like?" refers to doing it after deliberately thinking about it, not doing it without prior consideration. For example, with an unspecified mind, one thinks of giving stones, but instead gives gold nuggets. This is just done, but not accumulated, because this karma is unspecified. The so-called "not done accidentally" is like habitually speaking the truth. This is just done, but it is neither unwholesome nor accumulated. The so-called "What is completeness like?" Some people go to heaven with one good deed, some need three, some go to heaven with one path of karma, and some need ten. If it is not completed perfectly, that is, if it does not reach the level of being able to go to heaven, then this karma is just done, but not accumulated. If it is complete, then it is accumulated. Similarly, the words "produces a ripened result" and so on should be applied appropriately according to the situation. Giving to a stupa with attachment, saying it is for oneself, this is the so-called "for oneself, for others, for both." The so-called "only the cause of giving is merit" is because it is unbearable, so it is said "there is no benefit to anyone." If it can be accepted, then the merit arising from the cause of giving is acceptable, because one is happy about it and has applied benefit, so acceptance is acceptable. The so-called "unreceived love and so on are the same" refers to being similar to love and so on, even if it is not received, it is acceptable. Even if no benefit is applied to others, by increasing the power of the roots of virtue and so on, it will become merit, just like that, just like that.

Even if those who have passed away and possess virtues, if done with faith, offering to stupas will become merit. If it is said that giving and offering will become meaningless, then, if merit arises only from one's own mind, then one must perform giving and offering only with the mind, because merit is obtained only from that. No, because the faith that initiates that action is the most excellent, so it is not like that. Why? For example, the faith of merely thinking of giving and offering to the Bhagavan with the mind is not as excellent as the faith of actually performing giving and offering, because it also causes the actions of body and speech to proceed. The faith of merely thinking with the mind does not cause the actions of body and speech to proceed. How to explain in detail? For example, some people who have the thought of "how to kill the enemy," and the actions of body and speech initiated by that, with the idea of considering the enemy as dead, if they do it with the idea of "this enemy is not yet dead," due to continuous thinking, a great deal of non-merit will arise, not just the emptiness of thinking. Similarly, even after the Bhagavan has completely passed away from Nirvana, still initiated by faith in him, the giving and offering initiated by faith in the teacher, if done as if at the end, a great deal of merit will arise, not just empty faith. If it is said that giving in a bad field will result in undesirable fruits, just as the naked ascetics say that giving to robbers, etc., will result in undesirable fruits. In a good field, the fruits will become desirable. In a bad field, the opposite is true, so it is said. "From the cause, the fruit is not confused, even in a bad field, the fruit is desirable." That is, it is not said that from the difference of the field, the fruit will become desirable. Then what is said? It is said that it will become particularly excellent. In a good field, the fruit of the seeds of killing, etc., will not become desirable.

Likewise, even if seeds are sown in barren fields, it is seen that the fruit that grows from good seeds is definitely a good fruit, without confusion. It is seen that only good fruits are sweet, not neem fruits, that is its definition. Similarly, only bitter neem fruits grow from neem seeds. Good seeds are examples of virtue, and neem seeds are examples of non-virtue. Defiled morality is the form of non-virtue, meaning that defiled morality is the form of natural transgressions such as killing. What the Buddha has prescribed refers to the transgressions prescribed by the Buddha. If one violates those precepts after having taken vows, it becomes defiled morality, meaning that because one has taken vows but does not keep them, one is disrespectful to the teachings of the Bhagavan, so it becomes defiled morality. The implication is that if one has not taken vows, then it is not defiled morality. Possessing four pure qualities, meaning that because it possesses four qualities, it possesses four qualities. Defiled morality does not bring benefits, as it is said, defiled morality is the form of non-virtue. Like this. Attachment and so on, meaning that because one constantly engages in the causes of defiled morality, it does not bring benefits. In order to explain relying on the antidote to defiled morality, it is said to rely on mindfulness. The actual purity of the path of action means that one has not actually committed sins such as killing, that is its definition. Purity through proximity means that one has not uprooted the root of actions such as killing. Through conceptual thoughts, meaning through conceptual thoughts of desire and so on. Completely grasped by mindfulness, meaning that it is firmly guarded by mindfulness of the body, or completely grasped by mindfulness of morality. Morality of good aspiration, good aspiration refers to pursuing meaning. That which is guarded out of attachment to samsara, enjoyment, and respect is the morality of good aspiration.
