Oh, it is because it is complete with nature and fruit. Furthermore, what is it that its nature is not completely perfect and its fruit is not completely perfect? The nature that is not completely perfect is the Arhat, so what is the path by which the Arhat is attained? It is the nature of the learner. The fruit that is completely perfect is also the attainment of Arhat, so that path is endowed with fruit by the three fruits. Alternatively, the nature and fruit that are completely perfect are the path gathered by the knowledge of cessation. Thus, the nature that is completely perfect is because it is the path of no more learning. The fruit that is completely perfect is because it is the fruit without a body. Those who have risen from that are those who have risen from the path of remaining cultivation. Those who have risen from that, just as those who have risen from the Arhat, are not fields of merit. What need is there to mention those who have risen from the worldly path? This difference is explained from the perspective of the afflictions to be abandoned by cultivation having remnants and completely abandoning the remnants, and it should be understood. That is undoubtedly associated with investigation and analysis, because the five aggregates of consciousness are associated with investigation and analysis, because of this. Investigation and analysis are also absent in special meditations and so on, and the ripening of karma without investigation, the lower grounds, is also not reasonable to be associated with investigation and analysis. Ripening is the feeling of suffering, and what is explained in detail is that the ripening of that non-virtue is considered to be the feeling of suffering, because its fruit is not unpleasant. The feeling of mental suffering is unpleasant, and if there is nothing else, then unpleasantness is not ripening. That is said to show the senses, the twelve ripenings of life, the last eight and unpleasantness are excluded, it has already been said. Unpleasantness is not ripening, this is said extensively to sentient beings because of intolerance, if unpleasantness is not ripening.

Then, what is the cause of the distraction of the minds of sentient beings? Where does the mind reside? What is the cause? His thought is that the distraction of the mind does not reside in the five aggregates of consciousness, because they are without discrimination. Moreover, that is also unpleasant, because it is the cause of unwholesomeness. Therefore, I think that unpleasantness is the result of maturation. Because it is non-discriminating, it means that the five aggregates of consciousness must be non-discriminating, because they are discriminating and recollecting discriminations, while the distraction of the mind is the characteristic of evil discrimination. As for the so-called forest being burned by fire, the forest refers to the difference of places abundant with grass and so on. The so-called anything else refers to becoming an unpleasant disease. The so-called son of the abider and so on refers to the Blessed One residing in the mango grove of Mithila. At that time, six sons of a Brahmin woman of the same lineage as the abider died. Because of the death of those sons, she became distracted and mad, and went naked, wandering here and there, and went to that mango grove of Mithila. At that time, the Blessed One was sitting in the midst of hundreds of monks and teaching the Dharma. The Brahmin woman of the same lineage as the abider saw the Blessed One from afar. Having seen him, she felt ashamed and sat curled up, and also regained her memory. The Blessed One saw the son of the abider and the Brahmin woman of the same lineage from afar, and having seen them, he said to the venerable Ananda: Give the son of the abider and the Brahmin woman of the same lineage a robe, and teach her the Dharma. After the venerable Ananda gave the son of the abider and the Brahmin woman of the same lineage a robe, the son of the abider and the Brahmin woman of the same lineage put on the robe and went to the Blessed One, and having gone, bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with her head, and then sat on one side. After sitting on one side, the Blessed One fully instructed the son of the abider and the Brahmin woman of the same lineage with the words of the Dharma.

Made. Caused to be fully received. After fully praising. Making complete joy, etc., such as this. Because of the abundance of scriptures, not all were written. The meaning here is: The Blessed One made a speech to him about giving, etc., and from teaching the four noble truths, he obtained the fruit of entering the stream. After obtaining it, he also departed from the Blessed One's presence. At another time, his seventh son died, and he did not grieve because of the son's death. When he did not grieve, his husband said, "You used to be extremely grieved by the death of a son, but now you have no grief at all. Combining this, that son must have been eaten by you. Therefore, you are not grieving." She said to him in return: "Brahmin, for a long time, I have eaten thousands of sons and grandsons, and hundreds of relatives. You are the same as them. In those births again and again, thousands of sons and grandsons, one after another devouring each other, there is no limit. In the world, after knowing for certain liberation from birth and death, who would grieve or wail? I have relied on the Buddha, and also know that there is certain liberation from birth and death, therefore I do not grieve, I have no sorrow." Such as this. How does it happen that the feeling of the mind is not matured? The result of non-virtuous actions. This is a superfluous phrase. The disturbance of the great elements is maturation, maturation is maturation. The mind is born from that (disturbance of the great elements), therefore it is born from maturation. Therefore it is said that it is born from the maturation of karma, but it is not said that it is born from karma. Thus, the extensive explanation from why it is born from karma to the loss of memory, therefore this fourth case is reasonable. The example here is that both are afflictions of mental wandering. The mind is afflicted, it is not considered to be mature.
