The so-called "like potash for washing away dirt" means that, for example, just as potash is used for washing, similarly, the karma by which one experiences the ripening of happiness is the experience of happiness; the karma of experiencing the ripening of happiness is the experience of happiness. The so-called "suffering is also to be viewed in the same way" means that what accords with the experience of suffering is the experience of suffering, and it should be elaborated in detail as before. The experience of neither happiness nor suffering is also similar to this. "Experiencing by its own nature" means that experiencing by the nature of the characteristic of experience is experiencing by its own nature. Similarly, it should be connected up to "experiencing by becoming manifest." The so-called "contact that will be experienced as happiness" means that it accords with the feeling of happiness, or because there is the experience of happiness in this, it is contact that will be experienced as happiness. The so-called "object to be experienced" is a synonym for the object to be experienced, that is, the object to be focused on. The so-called "one will truly experience each form, but one will not truly experience attachment to forms individually" means that one will experience each form, but one will not experience attachment to forms individually. Or, it means that one experiences each of the forms of attachment, but not the object. The so-called "to be experienced in the visible dharma" means that because this has the characteristic of the ripening to be experienced at the time of seeing the dharma, it is called the karma to be experienced in the visible dharma, which is a detailed explanation. The detailed explanation of "when" etc. is that when one experiences the feeling of happiness and experiences it, then those two feelings, suffering and neither happiness nor suffering, will cease. The so-called "by the power of action" is a synonym for the beginning of ripening only in the visible dharma. The so-called "establish that name" means to establish the name as "to be experienced in the visible dharma."

It means 'to establish separately.' Karma also exists. If explained extensively, examples of karma with near results are mangoes and so on. Examples of karma with distant results are barley, wheat, and so on. Those who illustrate with examples are the Sutra School and others. Thus, according to those who explain the first and second situations, there are eight types of karma: due to the ripening, it is definite to be experienced in this life or indefinite to be experienced in this life. In the meantime of being indefinite to be experienced, it is also similar to that, which means due to the ripening, it is definite to be experienced after birth or indefinite to be experienced after birth; definite to be experienced in another life or indefinite to be experienced in another life; indefinite to be experienced, among things like this life, whatever is indefinite to be experienced, that also has definite and indefinite. There are eight types. The so-called 'four types of karma that can be drawn' is a general term for the four types of karma that can be experienced in this life and so on. How are they drawn? It is said that if killing, stealing, and lying are combined with engaging in sexual misconduct out of one's own desire, and those karmas are simultaneously completed, then one is experienced in this life, one is experienced after birth, one is experienced in another life, and one is indefinite to be experienced. Virtuous and non-virtuous karmas, as appropriate, where is there non-virtuous karma? Only in the desire realm, not elsewhere. The so-called 'in all sentient beings' is a general statement, and this is a specific statement, that is, there are three types in hell. The so-called 'three types' is a definite statement. In hell, there is only the drawing of three types of virtuous karma, not four types, because there is no desirable ripening in hell, except for experiencing it in this life. The mention of 'virtuous' is to eliminate non-virtuous, because in hell, all four types of non-virtuous karma can be drawn. The so-called 'whoever is firmly free from desire,' that is, whoever is free from desire,
