It is because they all arise simultaneously. If you want the small, medium, and large minds to be the cause, then you can obtain it through one cause, because they do not arise simultaneously. The term "different kinds" refers to the aspect where the small and so on are the cause. Abiding in the precepts, one protects all sentient beings. It is also said that not all limbs are all causes, which is explained in detail because the precepts arise from the virtuous mind that follows all sentient beings, so it is to protect all sentient beings. As for the precepts of lay practitioners and so on, because they have not abandoned all limbs, they are not all limbs, nor are they all causes, because it is impossible for the small and so on to become causes simultaneously. The precepts of a monk are all limbs, because all limbs have been abandoned. The so-called taking the three kinds of precepts with the three kinds of minds is to say that with a small mind one takes the lay precepts, with a medium mind one takes the novice precepts, and with a large mind one takes the monk precepts. The so-called protecting with all causes, but not all limbs, refers to the precepts of lay practitioners and so on, because the cause of each one is one of the small and so on. Thirty-third fascicle. The so-called "if it is not obtained in this way" means it is obtained by making five determinations. The so-called "how to obtain precepts from those who cannot" means how to obtain precepts from those sentient beings who cannot kill? In response to this, it is said in the sutra that the Acharya guides the recipient to take the precepts with the intention of not harming the lives of all sentient beings. Because one promises the precepts with the heightened intention of not harming the lives of all sentient beings. The Vaibhashikas also answered this question by extensively explaining "if it is only obtained from those who can." Gods and so on will also be reborn as humans and so on, and humans and so on will also be reborn as gods and so on. Ability and inability, humans and so on, and gods and so on, because they transform each other, will have increase and decrease. If sentient beings become able, then the
