it will become meaningless, for example, a person moving from this direction to that direction, like the sun moving from there. If that is the case, this will also harm non-action itself, therefore it is the fault of breaking the vow itself. The word "perish" is combined with the word "I" and the word "will perish." Wherever the mind moves, I will perish there, therefore it is the fault of breaking the vow here, because I become impermanent. If it is said that one direction meets, it means that the mind meets one direction of the self, or one direction of the self meets the mind. If the direction of the body where the mind resides, the direction of the self that exists there does not meet the mind, but suddenly meets another direction, therefore, even if the meeting is preceded by non-meeting, if it is thought that only the non-meeting direction of the self meets the mind, that is not right, because that direction itself cannot exist. I do not have other directions, and my direction cannot exist either. Even if it is allowed that meeting exists, the detailed explanation is that even if meeting has been admitted, but since there is no change, the mind is always without difference, how can meeting become different? If meeting becomes different, it is said like this. If it is said that it depends on the difference of wisdom, then, how can it be the difference of wisdom? This is to find fault with it itself, if I am eternally unchanging, why doesn't it only produce the same thing? The difference of cause is considered to be the difference of result, like the sound of conch, pottery drum, percussion instrument, etc. If it is said that it depends on the difference of formation, the self and the mind meet, if it is said that it arises from there, it means that even if the self and the mind are always without difference, but if it is thought that the combination of the self and the mind depends on the difference of formation, thereby producing the difference of wisdom. This is to say that through the characteristic of the difference of need, from the difference of formation arises the difference of the combination of the self and the mind, and from that difference arises the difference of wisdom. Here, in detail, the mind that only depends on the difference of formation.

Satī. Regarding this, according to my view, the teacher's opinion is that even if there is mind, there must also be the difference of actions that are the characteristics of necessary distinctions, which we call habits and seeds, this is without doubt. Only the point of whether it is another thing or not is different. Therefore, when the difference of wisdom is transformed only by the function of the mind that relies on the difference of actions, what can be done by contemplating me or encountering it? This refers to the detailed explanation of the statement "My ability is not even slightly discernible," just as some bad and cunning doctors give medicine to some patients and think: This medicine is easy to obtain, even his entourage knows it. This medicine can also cure this patient's illness. Therefore, I should hide myself and let others do this. That way I won't get wealth. So he recites the mantra "ཕུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ་ཐུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ་ (Tibetan), phu svāhā thu svāhā (Sanskrit Romanization), phu svaha tu svaha (Literal Chinese meaning)", and shows people that this mantra makes the medicine effective. So, just as the bad and cunning doctor reciting "ཕུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ་ (Tibetan), phu svāhā (Sanskrit Romanization), phu svaha (Literal Chinese meaning)" etc. does not make the medicine effective, but only the power of the medicine itself, the difference of wisdom is not my power, but only the power of the mind. If it is said that if I exist, then these two (action and mind) may exist, then, if it is thought that if I exist, then these two, action and mind, may exist, therefore I exist, then this is just talk, there is no reason at all. If it is said that it is the support, then, if it is thought that it is the support of these two, then, for example, what relies on what, like that, this is looking for the metaphor of the essence of the support. In order to show that this is not suitable as the meaning of support, it is explained in detail that "those are also," just as those actions and minds are also like paintings and lacquer trees, for example, just as paintings rely on walls and lacquer trees rely on containers. The word "etc." includes from food relying on containers etc., those actions and minds do not rely on the supporting self in that way, and that is also like walls and containers etc.
