If it is thought that the extensive explanation of "which ones" and so on is spoken with reference to the coarse form of the lower realm, then some might say that this is also similar to my morsel food. How so? The phrase "transcending the gods who eat morsel food" is spoken with reference to the coarse morsel food of the lower realm. It is not spoken with reference to the subtle morsel food eaten in the form realm. Furthermore, if it is said that because they necessarily arise from the coarse form of the lower realm, they are called formless, then the dhyanas would also necessarily arise from the lower realm, and therefore they would become formless. How so? The first dhyana necessarily arises from the coarse form of the desire realm, and similarly, up to the fourth dhyana, each higher one necessarily arises from a coarser form, so they would become formless. Why is it not said that they also necessarily arise from feeling and so on? If it is said that although one has one's own form body, because one also necessarily arises from the form body of the lower realm, one is called formless, then although one has one's own feeling, why is it not said that the formless ones also necessarily arise from feeling and so on, so they are without feeling? The meaning of the word "and so on" should extend to saying that one has one's own consciousness, so one is without consciousness. Why? Because they necessarily arise from the feeling and so on of the lower realm, because they necessarily arise from the coarse feeling and so on of the lower realm, this is the concluding statement. The phrase "transcending the aspect of form" refers to the formless ones, whether in absorption or arising, any aspect of form, whether coarse, subtle, internal, or external, they have transcended all of that. But it is not transcending the aspect of feeling and so on, because the formless ones, whether in absorption or arising, have not transcended all feeling, because there is feeling that is neither pleasure nor pain. The meaning of the word "and so on" should be stated up to consciousness. Therefore, necessarily arising from all forms.

It is said, but it is not said that it necessarily arises from feelings and so on. Therefore, if we say that, there will be no fault of "because it necessarily arises from the feelings and so on of the lower ground, why not say that it also necessarily arises from feelings and so on." Answer: If the formless (realm) necessarily arises from the form (realm), then what does it mean that the sutra says "I do not say that existence arises from existence"? How can the formless realm necessarily arise from the form realm? The sutra says that existence does not necessarily arise from existence, it is only said that way because that does not necessarily arise from that. Because it is not all and does not necessarily arise forever. It does not necessarily arise from all, although the form realm necessarily arises from the desire realm, it does not necessarily arise from the formless realm. It is also not always necessarily arise from the desire realm, because it will come again. Similarly, the formless realm also necessarily arises from the form realm, but not from the desire realm, and the formless realm does not always necessarily arise from the form realm. How to abide, it has been said before, that is, "In that place, in the clan and life, the stream of mind is the dependent" and so on. "The three" refers to being connected to "formless", so it is expressed with a masculine word. "Because of such connection" means that it will become emptiness and so on when connecting, otherwise it also depends on other dharmas as appropriate. "Because it is inferior, neither non-perception nor non-non-perception" means why is the fourth formless realm neither called perception nor called non-perception? Because it is inferior. "Because it is inferior" means stating the reason why the fourth formless realm is called the place of neither non-perception nor non-non-perception. Because it is established in accordance with the name and meaning, it is said that the connection here is also like this. Precisely because of this,
