It is at that time. The mind of manifestation is called the constant time. Abiding in the fruit of samadhi is called abiding in the mind of manifestation. The so-called higher ground is the ground of the second dhyana and so on. The ground of the first dhyana causes speech. Furthermore, in the second dhyana and so on, there is no mind of discrimination and investigation that arises and functions. It is said that one speaks after examining and analyzing in this way. Because there is no mind of manifestation, if there is no manifestation, it is said that if there is no reason, then what arises from the reason does not exist, because it is not existent, how can this manifestation speak? This is what was thought. Because of blessing and causing others to enter, it is said that the manifester wants to abide, so the mind of manifestation manifests the manifestation. Then, blessing it, may it abide, and then another mind of discrimination and investigation that arises and functions causes it to speak. Because it follows the stream of previous thoughts, it will manifest the manifestation before, it will bless it, it will speak, and thus it is distinguished in the mind. Because there is a possibility of blessing in both states, it is asked whether only the living have blessings. The blessing of the great Kashyapa is the same as the devotion of the great Kashyapa. There are three kinds of birth from birth. It is said that gods and others sometimes manifest for the benefit of others, and sometimes for harm, and so on. What they do, which is extensively explained, is that the relationship between the self and others in the manifestation done by gods and others is the ninth place. Why is that? Because it is a soundless and colored place. Thus, it has soundless eye and other places and form and other places. Because sound is impermanent, it does not manifest. Because there is no mind, the places of mind and dharma do not manifest either. Manifestation has no mind.

O, what is manifested? It comes from the treatises, where it is said: Should the emanation be said to be made of the four great elements, or should it be said not to be made of the four great elements? Answer: It should be said to be made of the four great elements. Should it be said to be a form that is caused, or should it be said not to be a form that is caused? Answer: It should be said to be a form that is the result of a cause, and it should also be said to be inanimate. Should it be said to be governed by whose mind? Answer: It should be said to be governed by the mind of the emanator. This is what is said in the text. If the ninth source of birth is emanated, then how can it not become that previously non-existent beings appear, since the faculties are emanated? Because the faculties are what show beings. If one asks this, therefore it is said, "Because it is not different from the faculties." This is because the five faculties, such as the eye, and the emanations connected to one's own and others' bodies, exist without difference from the nature of form, smell, taste, and touch. Therefore, the faculty called the ninth source of birth is not emanated, and this is the established tenet. Whatever is emanated that is not connected to one's own and others' bodies is only the fourth source of birth. For example, the youth born from me and the intermediate state being are examples of magical powers born from karma. Are those only of the gods? Is the word "of the gods" real? Or is it just a metaphor? If one thinks that those exist in the gods, so it means "of the gods," then this word becomes real. Or, because it is similar to the gods, it is said to be "of the gods," which is just a metaphor. Examples such as Bodhisattvas, Wheel-Turning Kings, and wealthy householders show that it is only a metaphor. Because it exists together with consciousness, it is always similar because it exists together with consciousness and relies on it in order to prove through experiencing form. Because there is no defect or fault, it is said to be defec

Ba is incomplete. Fault is distortion. The so-called "not seeing everything" means that, in reality, the divine eye can see the back and also the front. If it is not a divine eye, it is not like that, that is what is said. The word "etc." in "four kinds of divine ears etc." includes the divine eye, the remembrance of past lives, and the knowledge of others' minds. These four kinds of divine ears etc. are also obtained by birth. Which beings obtain the divine eye by birth? They are the gods who dwell in the desire realm, the nagas, and those who dwell in the form realm. But not those who dwell in the formless realm, because there is no form there. There is also no going by magical power and no emanation. Divine ears and eyes cannot be obtained either. Because there is no complete examination of one's own and others' continuums, there is also no knowledge of others' minds. Like sentient beings who dwell in the desire and form realms, there is also no remembrance of past lives, because such a body cannot be achieved. Or, like sentient beings who dwell in the desire and form realms, there are also no all kinds of superknowledges, because such a body cannot be achieved. The statement "It is not like the fruit of cultivation is only virtue" is a counter-example. The statement "By dwelling in another realm, one always knows" means that beings who dwell in the realms of gods etc., through the knowledge of others' minds and the remembrance of past lives, always know, because they are softened by the feeling of suffering. "Humans do not obtain by birth" means that the magical powers etc. that people speak of are produced by obtaining detachment from desire, reasoning, knowledge, and the action of medicine, but not by birth. Then, what is the natural remembrance of past lives? The remembrance of past lives itself becomes the remembrance of past lives, and how does that come about by being born? This is thinking that this is not obtained by birth. They say that these are produced by the difference of karma, referring to the karma of the Bodhisattvas...
