Sometimes it is attachment, sometimes it is hatred, like ignorance and so on. This is knowledge, it is to be realized. Remembering past lives, this is knowledge, it is to be realized. Death and birth are death and birth. This is knowledge, it is to be realized. The exhaustion of all outflows, this is knowledge, it is the superknowledge to be realized, each should be applied accordingly. What is called "like the fruit of a renunciate" is like the fruit of a renunciate, which is the nature of the path of liberation. What is called "the mind has five knowledges," what is called "mind" is the synonym for mind, superknowledge. This is the nature of the five knowledges, it is a concluding word. Knowing the minds of others without outflows is Dharma, it is the following, the path, and the knowledge of the minds of others. With outflows, it is conventional and the reason why the knowledge of the minds of others exists. What is called "like strength" is like knowing the strength that depends on outflows. If knowing the exhaustion of outflows is focused on the exhaustion of outflows, then there are six knowledges, because knowing cessation is Dharma and following, and knowing exhaustion and non-arising. Conventional wisdom may also be focused on cessation. If what is the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows, then there are ten knowledges, because there are all ten knowledges in the continuum of the exhaustion of outflows. Similarly, if what is the superknowledge that focuses on the exhaustion of outflows, then it is the superknowledge for realizing the knowledge of the exhaustion of outflows, then there are six knowledges, the same as before. If what is the superknowledge of the exhaustion of outflows, then there are ten knowledges, the same as before. It should also be known that this is all ground, the statement "like strength" alone can express this meaning. Because why is it determined that there are only five knowledges in the four dhyanas? Therefore, this sixth superknowledge is said to be all ground. For the time being, there are no three, namely magical powers, divine ear, and divine eye superknowledge. Why? Because it is focused on form.

It is because the formless beings do not focus on form in order to destroy the perception of form. The reason why it is said that it can be attained based on form is because it is to be attained through form. This means that it is to be attained through the path of focusing on form. It means that because of this kind of form, it will become this kind of mind. Formless beings do not focus on form. There is also no recollection of previous lives, because ultimately recollecting other previous lives can be attained. Like this, ultimately recollecting one's own other lives can be attained. The true virtuous Dharma of the formless realm is not the object of practice of the lower realms with outflows. It is explained in this way that formless beings also do not focus on the Dharma practiced in the desire realm. When one wants to remember one's own other lives, those practices are also the object of focus at the time of attainment, so there is no ground for it. The reason for focusing on places and lineages, etc., is like saying that after dying from there, one is reborn in a certain place. It is like it says in the sutra: 'Where is my name this, the caste is like this, the clan is like this, the food is eating this, experiencing such happiness and suffering, life can live so long, exist for so long, at the end of life became like this, sentient beings are those. I died from that place and was reborn in a certain place. And from there I died and was reborn here.' Like this, remember many previous lives with various forms, regions and topics. Formless beings do not focus on places and lineages, etc., nor do they focus on the lower realms, so this is also not the ground of the formless realm. If you want to know the minds of others, how can you attain it based on form? Therefore, if you want to know the minds of others, it is explained in detail. 'To cast' means to cast. 'Grasping the sign' means the meaning of completely determining the state of mind.
