is the concluding word of immutability. Others say "at the joints" in order to specifically point out the difference in bone joints. The "Naga Knot" is described in detail, the joints of the Buddhas are like Naga Knots. A Naga Knot is a coiled Naga. The joints of the Pratyekabuddhas are like rosary beads. The joints of the Chakravartins are like being nailed down. Elephants, etc., are the strength reckoned by seventy. The so-called elephants, etc., are the seven: elephant, fragrant elephant, strong elephant, victorious elephant, superior limb, superior strength, and son of the desireless one. Their strength is multiplied by ten. How so? It is said that the strength of ten ordinary elephants is the strength of one fragrant elephant. Similarly, the strength of ten fragrant elephants is the strength of one strong elephant, and so on, the strength of ten superior strengths is the strength of one son of the desireless one. This is the method of increasing by ten upwards. Increasing by ten upwards is half the strength of the son of the desireless one, which means that first, just like that, adding up the sum of ten superior strengths, etc., is half the strength of the son of the desireless one. Doubling it is the strength of the son of the desireless one. The teacher thinks that it can be exaggerated as much as possible, and this is the establishment of the former view. The reason is that if it is not so, the infinite power of wisdom cannot be tolerated. Otherwise, the elephant killed by Devadatta would not even be able to kick down the enclosure and the seven cesspools with his toe. The so-called "only the difference of the great elements" means that this strength is only the difference of the great elements, and is not transformed from the elements, this is to show that. The so-called "form caused by a cause different from the seven" means that others say that the so-called strength is only something different from the previously mentioned forms caused by a cause, such as softness, etc. This is what they say.

Therefore, as it is said, Shariputra, these four are the fearlessnesses of the Tathagata. If endowed with these fearlessnesses, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, proclaims the excellent place of the bull king, turns the wheel of Dharma, and roars the lion's roar truthfully in the assembly. What are the four? Alas, when I attained perfect enlightenment, if anyone were to say, 'These dharmas I have not perfectly awakened to,' no matter whether they are renunciates or brahmins, no one can refute or argue in accordance with the Dharma. Therefore, since I have not seen any reason for refutation, I have obtained bliss and fearlessness, and abide in fearlessness, proclaiming the excellent place of the bull king, turning the wheel of Dharma, and roaring the lion's roar truthfully in the assembly, this is the first fearlessness. Alas, my defilements are exhausted, if anyone were to say, 'These defilements I have not abandoned,' it is just as said before. Up to the point of roaring the lion's roar in the assembly, it is just as before. This is the second fearlessness. These dharmas of obstruction that I have spoken to the hearers, if they were to practice them, they would not become obstructions, if anyone were to say this to me, it is also as said before. This is the third fearlessness. This path of liberation that I have spoken to the hearers, is for the sake of completely exhausting suffering that one departs, not for the sake of ending suffering that one departs, if anyone were to say this to me, it is also as said before. This is the fourth fearlessness. Thus it is said. How is the power of knowing what is and is not the case? To explain in detail, the power of knowing what is and is not the case is encompassed by ten kinds of knowledge and all the grounds. Alas, I have become perfectly enlightened, this fearlessness is also the same as that. Therefore, the dharmas should be divided into ten aspects and applied. How is the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements, encompassed by six or ten kinds of knowledge and eleven grounds? Alas, I
