Because it is said that these are the reasons for the dharmas, therefore, those who wish to obtain virtuous actions with outflows have four kinds of attainment. Because they are virtuous actions, they are the attainment of gain and reliance; because they are with outflows, they are the attainment of antidotes and severance. Then, what are the virtuous actions of conditioned phenomena that are not with outflows, that are without outflows, and what are the afflictions that are unwholesome and unspecified? How many attainments do they have? It is said that those without outflows have two, which are the attainment of gain and reliance. What about the afflictions that are unwholesome and unspecified? There are two attainments, which are the attainment of antidotes and severance. The former, "belonging to the faculties," is synonymous with the attainment of restraint for the eyes and so on. The latter, "belonging to the body," is the attainment of destruction. Furthermore, in order to explain these two attainments in order, it is explained in detail that these six faculties are the nature of mindfulness and awareness, and that destruction is also the severance of afflictions that take the body as their object. It is explained in detail that the attainment of restraint and destruction are also included in the attainment of antidotes and severance in order, and even if it is said that both are included in both, there is no contradiction. The general explanation of what all beings attain is because it is said in the sutra, "Having known exhaustion, having made a decision," it is said that Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and Perfectly Complete Buddhas obtain merit from the moment of knowing exhaustion. When explaining the ten powers in detail, the Vaibhashikas divide the ten powers, etc., up to great compassion, into eighteen unshared dharmas. Some say that there are eighteen other unshared dharmas besides the ten powers, etc., such as: the Tathagata has no confusion, no clamor, no boasting, no different thoughts, no unspecified mind, no unexamined equanimity, no obstruction to the wisdom of seeing the past, regarding the future

There is no obstruction to the wisdom vision of the past. There is no obstruction to the wisdom vision of the present. All the activities of the body follow wisdom. All the activities of speech follow wisdom. All the activities of mind follow wisdom. There is no loss of aspiration. There is no loss of diligence. There is no loss of mindfulness. There is no loss of samadhi. There is no loss of liberation. There is no loss of the wisdom vision of liberation. This is called (the ten powers). Among them, "chattering" means speaking casually. "Showing off" means thinking of having fun in the mind. Various perceptions refer to the different perceptions of objects that are pleasant, painful, and neither painful nor pleasant from the perspective of desire, hatred, and ignorance. The rest is easy to understand. The ten powers are the power of knowing what is possible and impossible, the power of knowing the path and its maturation, the power of knowing meditation and liberation, as well as samadhi and equanimity, the power of knowing superior and inferior faculties, the power of knowing various inclinations, the power of knowing various realms, the power of knowing the path to all destinations, the power of knowing the recollection of past lives, the power of knowing death and birth, and the power of knowing the exhaustion of defilements. It is said in the sutra: O fortunate one, the Tathagata has ten powers. What are the ten? O fortunate one, in this regard, the Tathagata fully knows what is possible as it is, and fully knows what is impossible as it is. O fortunate one, this is the first power of the Tathagata. Possessing this power, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened one, makes a great vow among the assembly, turns the wheel of Dharma, and roars the lion's roar in the retinue. O fortunate one, furthermore, the Tathagata fully knows the place, cause, basis, and maturation of the laws of karma that have been correctly taken up, whether past, future, or present.
