If so. Therefore, having attachment is not a mind without attachment. The so-called mind that is not in accordance with attachment is thought to mean even if attachment has already been obtained. To say that it has the nature of non-retrogression in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm is thought to be to show that it is free from the attachment of the three realms. There, it is said that it is spoken with consideration from the separation from its attainment, which means that it is spoken with consideration from the separation from the attainment of attachment and so on. This shows that it is not merely non-correspondence. If asked, isn't this already explained in detail? Some say: Starting from "In this sutra", if not corresponding to attachment is being free from attachment, then it will also correspond to other afflictions. That's what they say. Even if it corresponds to other afflictions, it is free from attachment because it does not correspond to attachment, that is their idea. If so, then it should not be said "having hatred" and "having ignorance" and so on. Therefore, mentioning "that is not taken as being free from attachment" and so on, means that the mind that corresponds to hatred and so on is not taken as being free from attachment. So, what should it be? It should be taken as "having hatred" and "having ignorance" and so on, only the correspondence with hatred and so on itself is made as a distinction. Here, the word "etc." includes the words "completely collected" and "scattered" etc. mentioned in the sutra. If it is not so, what is explained in detail is that if it is known that attachment has arisen to a certain object such as form, then it will also be focused on form. If so, because it is focused on form, it will also not become knowing the mind of others. When grasping the mind of others focused on it, it will grasp its own nature, which means wanting to grasp the mind of others with an object of focus.
