It is impossible to have an object, because the knowledge of the path is the object of the path, and the mind gathered by the path does not have the same nature as sleep. Therefore, it must be said that the knowledge that knows it is twofold: knowledge of the Dharma and conventional knowledge. Some say that universally gathered knowledge is virtuous because it manifestly gathers objects. According to those people, these two faults will not occur, because it does not have the same nature as afflictive sleep, so it is both gathered and not distracted. There is also no contradiction with the treatises, because the universally gathered mind is virtuous, both gathered by the three realms and not gathered by the three realms, so it can be established that there are four kinds of knowledge that know it. The undefiled knowledge that focuses on the virtuous mind of the form realm and the formless realm is subsequent knowledge, and the one that focuses on the virtuous mind gathered by the path is also the knowledge of the path. The term "because it is relied upon by small liberations" is a synonym for saying that it is relied upon by small virtues. The term "because it is the opposite of that" means because it is relied upon by great liberations. The so-called roots and values, etc., appear extensively, referring to the places where roots, etc., reach growth, each having small and large divisions, because the roots are few and many, it should be understood that they become small and large in order. How to understand it? Answer: There are two kinds of afflictive non-virtuous roots, that is, any one of ignorance, greed, and hatred is the root, because these two do not appear together in one collection. Virtue is due to the three virtuous roots, namely non-greed, non-hatred, and non-ignorance, because these are indispensable. Similar to this, because there is no attainment of the future, it means that the virtuous conditioned dharmas that are in accordance with the law will be attained, therefore, similar to afflictions, there is no attainment and realization of the future. The so-called having three aggregates following, refers to the aggregates of feeling, perception, and formation. The aggregate of consciousness

Because it is not, a collection does not have a second consciousness, and it is also contradictory for oneself to do to oneself. Virtue is similar to it, and because it can be obtained in the future, there is more reincarnation. The four aggregates, namely the three of feeling, etc., are the form aggregate, which is included in meditation and the uncontaminated precepts, and follows the mind and follows accordingly. Also, afflictions are weak, because even virtue, with a single moment of wrong view, can destroy the five aggregates of virtue. Isn't it weak? It is not permanently cut off, because it will still connect. The forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering can permanently cut off the ten latent defilements. Therefore, it is said "also", with the word "also", because it has been said before. Because it is the antidote, it is the antidote to agitation. Non-pacified and pacified are also the same as it, non-pacified is afflicted because it is associated with agitation, and pacified is virtue because it is the antidote. Or, it is pacified and non-pacified from the perspective of being associated with and not associated with afflictions. Samadhi is virtue because it is the antidote, because it is the antidote to distraction. With the cultivation of attainment and familiarization, etc., attainment from what was not previously attained is attainment. Manifestation is familiarization. They themselves are cultivation, non-cultivation is because they have not been cultivated with them. Afflictions, like virtue, have no attainment in the future, and because they are inferior, they are not worthy of familiarization. Attainment and familiarization refer to the attainment of virtuous actions. Those two, refer to the cultivation of attainment and familiarization, etc. Those who are liberated in nature and continuum, because they are not liberated, are associated with afflictions, etc., so even those who are liberated in nature are not liberated, afflictions.

Since it does not arise in the continuum where afflictions have ceased, liberation of the continuum is not true liberation. Liberation is virtuous because it is not associated with afflictions and arises in the continuum where afflictions have ceased. "Co-emergent with dullness and sleep" means associated with dullness and sleep. "Not associated with higher vision" means that it only indicates that it is co-emergent with the complete cessation within. "Distraction" is an explanation of "following distraction." "Because being co-emergent with afflicted sleep is not determined as distraction itself," why is it not determined that this is distraction? Is it because when an afflicted mind is co-emergent with sleep, there is no distraction, so it is not determined? Or is it that although there is distraction, it is not determined because it is established as complete gathering? Both explanations are possible. Some say that any affliction other than being co-emergent with afflicted sleep is distraction, while being co-emergent with sleep is not afflicted and is determined to be complete gathering without distinction. Others say that whatever is associated with sleep is only complete gathering and not distraction, because distraction is only what is scattered on objects. Therefore, here, the mind associated with sleep is not determined. Contradicting the scriptures, "above" means thinking that the scripture, the Dharma Abhidhamma, was not spoken by the Buddha. "Because the characteristics are also explained as not being different" means that because all of them are explained as being afflicted, the characteristics of these from distraction and so on up to non-liberation are not different from affliction itself, because affliction itself is associated with many afflicted grounds. Because the characteristics of including complete gathering and grasping, etc., are also explained as not being different, the difference in meaning is also not explained.
