What is done is said that way for the sake of existence. Sometimes, due to the power of application, one can also know the forbearance of subsequent knowledge of suffering and the subsequent knowledge of suffering. Eighth, regarding "subsequent knowledge of arising," etc., it means that after knowing the two that are in accordance with the aspects of knowledge and forbearance of the Dharma, through application, one can know the mind that is in accordance with the aspect of subsequent knowledge, and thus one can know the eighth subsequent knowledge of arising. The term "because the application is small" is a synonym for "because the application is small." The subsequent knowledge of the mind of others by the Hearers, which focuses on what is in accordance with the aspect of subsequent knowledge, is something that needs to be accomplished with great application. Therefore, until then, as long as one is engaged in application, one will obtain the sixteen minds, and therefore one cannot know in the meantime. The terms "first, second, and fifteenth" refer to knowing only those three. For example, after knowing the forbearance of the Dharma-knowledge of suffering and knowing the Dharma-knowledge of suffering, and then making other applications, one can know the forbearance of the subsequent knowledge of the path in the fifteenth moment. The question "How does the knowledge without outflows know in this way?" arises because those without outflows have aspects such as suffering, while this has aspects such as "I have completely known suffering," and because it has aspects such as conventional truths. The scripture states that it shows the difference between the two through its distinction. It refers to the distinction of the two conventional knowledges obtained after that, from "I have completely known suffering" to "I have cultivated the path," and from "I have completely known suffering, and there is nothing more to be completely known" to "I have cultivated the path, and there is nothing more to cultivate." In that way, it shows and makes known the difference between the knowledge of exhaustion and the knowledge of non-arising, which are the two without outflows. Therefore, what arises from that cause is a synonym for having that as the cause and having that as the precursor. Because the cause is the same, it is thought that one can infer the difference between the two through non-discrimination.

This is what was thought. The meaning of "knowing it thus also through the uncontaminated" is that others say that there are uncontaminated aspects other than the sixteen aspects, and therefore one knows it thus. If it is said in the scriptures that the knowledge and vision arising from that cause, such as the uncontaminated knowing of cessation and non-arising, are the result of worldly knowledge such as the complete knowledge of suffering, then "the wisdom of cessation and non-arising is not a view" contradicts what appears as non-view. If this is said, then, therefore, saying vision is for the sake of abandoning explanation. What is said as knowledge and vision in the scriptures comes from abandoning explanation, because in knowing suffering and so on, there are knowledge, vision, wisdom, intelligence, and realization, etc. Because these words are abandoned, this is dwelling nearby, so these are the words of those who proclaim it, but the nature of the knowledge of cessation and non-arising is not the nature of view, but the nature of non-view, this is the concluding word. Or, it is said for the sake of manifestation. These two knowledges have manifestation, so this is manifestation. Therefore, vision is spoken of for these two, these two knowledges do not enter secretly like arising from inference or from scriptural authority. Vision is also considered to be manifest, like eye consciousness. Similarly, these two knowledges are also called vision. Therefore, for the sake of manifestation, it is said in the scriptures: "For the time being, whatever is knowledge is also vision. There is vision but not knowledge, such as the eight acceptances belonging to the Abhisamaya." Therefore, it will be said that these two are considered to be vision, but not views. In this regard, among the ten knowledges, worldly knowledge is only worldly knowledge, it is encompassed by its own nature. The single mind-reading knowledge is also a part, that is, the contaminated and the uncontaminated, that contaminated and
