It will become devoid of and not endowed with the liberation from afflictions. There is also another fault: having abandoned the liberation from the afflictions of the higher ground, one will also become endowed with those afflictions of the higher ground. "Liberation from half of the peak of existence, like being born above, not possessing." That is to say, liberation from half is liberation from half. Liberation from half of the peak of existence is liberation from half of the peak of existence. Being born above is being born above. Liberation from half of the peak of existence and being born above is liberation from half of the peak of existence and being born above. Similar to that, therefore, it is like liberation from half of the peak of existence and being born above. Not possessing means those and that are superfluous words. The word "du" is for the sake of eliminating the previous fault. For the sake of that meaning of liberation, it is explained in detail that even if that person does not have the attainment of worldly liberation, they will not be endowed with those afflictions. For example, regarding the aspect of liberation from half of the peak of existence, it is explained in detail that they do not have the worldly attainment of liberation from half of the peak of existence, because there is no worldly path as an antidote to it. Their attainment of liberation is beyond the world and also relies on meditation, although it can be abandoned by the transference of faculties. However, just as you admit that you will not be endowed with those aspects of the afflictions of existence, this is also the same. Again, for example, an ordinary being is born up to the first dhyana, that is, being born in the second dhyana and so on, because they have obtained the liberation from that ground of the first dhyana. By abandoning the attainment of liberation from the afflictions that operate in the desire realm, because of the transference of ground and degeneration. "By the transference of ground and degeneration, one abandons the merit of obtaining dhyana." Similarly, it is certain that one will also abandon the formless realm. Therefore, just as you admit that you will not be endowed with those afflictions that operate in the desire realm, this person is also the same. The reason for mentioning "ordinary being" is that in this way, a noble being is liberated from desire from the upper ground of the desire realm by the worldly path.

In terms of attainment, there are also mundane and supramundane attainments of freedom from afflictions. Among them, the mundane attainment of freedom from afflictions that is practiced in the desire realm refers to abandoning through rebirth by being born in the first dhyana and above, but it is not supramundane, because the noble ones are: through attainment of fruition, cultivation, and decline. Therefore, it is certain to be abandoned. Even if noble ones are born in the first dhyana and above, if there is supramundane, it is impossible to be associated with these, because ordinary beings are not like that, so ordinary beings are mentioned. Therefore, saying "abandoned and not possessing afflictions," this is not for making people understand. The so-called "from all" refers to from one's own ground, upper ground, and lower ground, this is because it is without outflows. Saying "the power of equanimity is not common" refers to the absorption of the fourth dhyana and so on, and its approximations, because the power of equanimity is similar. Some people cannot enter the actual dhyana, this is because the faculties are dull. Saying "it is difficult to transform the faculties" refers to the difficulty of generating mental ease or happiness after the power of equanimity, because the actual and approximate states are similar in the power of equanimity. Why is the final path of liberation manifested only from the actual state, and not from the approximation? Because of respect for the land free from attachment. Because one is already free from attachment, it is not towards the lower ground, because only through its approximation is one freed from attachment from the lower ground. The so-called "those who have entered the aspect of truth" refers to those who have entered the aspect of impermanence and so on. The so-called "as appropriate" refers to some people saying that if the lower ground is seen as coarse, then the upper ground is the opposite, seen as peaceful. Others say that for aspects such as peace, sometimes one will observe with the first aspect, but it is not necessary to observe all of them. The so-called coarse. The so-called coarse refers to general. Because it is not peaceful, it is coarse. If the lower ground is peaceful, what would happen? Because of manifestation
