It should be known. The eighth is not. Because it is supreme, it is said that way. For example, in the world, whatever supremely illuminates is called the sun. It is not like a firefly. The term "other than that" means that at that time, existence is different from that. The terms "skilled in the seven places" and "seven leaves" are like, for example, because they conform to the seven groups, the sutra says that the monk is skilled in the seven places. If you ask, how is a monk skilled in the seven places? After explaining in detail, he taught: O monks, how is a monk skilled in the seven places? He truly knows the reality of form. The arising of form, the cessation of form, the path leading to the cessation of form, the taste of form, the faults of form, and the true knowledge of the escape from form. Similarly, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are truly known. Starting from "the arising of consciousness" and ending with "truly knowing the escape from consciousness," it is explained in detail. In this way, according to this method, the seven groups of the five aggregates are thirty-five, so he is skilled in thirty-five. It is also like the term "seven leaves," for example, because each leaf has seven petals similar. Even if there are hundreds of petals, that tree is called a seven-leaf tree, just like that. The necessity of setting up two examples is that the first example is established in the scriptures, and the second example is well-known in the world. If it is thought that way because it conforms to the seven groups, and it is explained as "it is the seventh existence," then it contradicts what is said in the sutra. Therefore, I think this explanation is not good. In one realm, the eighth existence will not appear, but in another realm, it will appear, so there is no contradiction. Or, if one revolves seven times among gods and humans and then reaches the end of suffering, if analyzed literally, because gods and humans appear, it seems that the intermediate existence will not exist either. In the realms of gods and humans, seven existences will appear.

can be accomplished. Some also believe that the intermediate existences are not counted. If the intermediate existences are included and counted as seven existences, then there will only be four births. Thus, with this unpleasant word, it is established that the author's explanation is considering one lifetime. Another view is that even so, it is elaborately stated that one ascends to the peak of existence. If it is explained that the eighth existence cannot be realized in one lifetime, then how can ascending to the peak of existence realize the eighth existence in one lifetime? Because it says, "He increases, half increases, at all times, death transfers to another existence at the peak," even if one ascends to Akanishta (highest heaven), the eighth existence can still be realized. Why is it specifically mentioned to the peak of existence? Although that should also be said, the idea is to express the highest of existence, so it is said that one ascends to the peak of existence. Because it is spoken from the perspective of the desire realm, there is no fault. The saying, "One lifetime only refers to humans or gods, the eighth existence cannot be realized, but not in the form and formless realms. That is spoken from the perspective of the desire realm," what scripture or reasoning is there to understand this? Scripture refers to the words of the Buddha. Reasoning refers to inferring based on reason. The one who raised the question, "What scripture or reasoning is there to understand this?" also elaborately stated how it is separately among gods and humans, meaning that one revolves seven times separately among gods and humans, but not among both gods and humans. What is there to understand about this? It is said like this, if one sees the truth among humans, then one revolves three times among the gods, and also among humans only revolves three times, and then comes to the gods and is completely liberated from suffering. If one sees the truth among the gods, then also like that among humans...
