Because it follows the mind, the possessed great elements exist even without consciousness in states such as the cessation attainment. In "up to abandoning frivolous speech," the word "up to" includes not taking what is not given, sexual misconduct, lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, and abandoning frivolous speech. "Just like the mind, the nature is not different" means that just as the mind that produces it is not a different entity, similarly, the great elements that produce it are also only not different entities. The great elements are not the basis of non-manifestation in the sense of being a support. What is it then? It is in the sense of enabling it to enter, therefore there is no contradiction in saying that it arises from the great elements of non-different nature. The Pratimoksha vows are said to be other great elements, because they do not follow the mind. Manifestation arises from a similar cause, because it follows due to the force of attraction. "The body is possessed" is In contrast to "speech is not possessed." The body is because it turns without being different from the great elements of the body, and its supporting great elements are also possessed. Speech is not, because it turns as a different entity from them. Here, this contradicts the treatise, because it says: Which of the precepts of a layperson are possessed, and which are not? The answer is: None are possessed. If someone refutes this, then saying this is because it is spoken from the precepts of the nature of non-manifestation, is it because it is said in this way? Or because most of it is said in this way, there is no fault. Also, because it is a constant continuation, this will become not the Sarvastivada, because when one shape arises, the other shape will not recede. How can the two shapes be established in detail? This is because they do not leave gaps for each other. "Because its great elements are completely pervasive" refers to the manifestation.

Because the great elements that are the basis of expression completely pervade the body. It is not possible to say that the great elements of expression do not pervade. If it is not completely pervaded, how can it become a complete expression of the limbs? This is only a part of the body, not the entire expressive body, so it is not possible to say that this body is not completely pervaded by the great elements that are the basis of expression. If it is said that the body has gaps, so they have the opportunity to enter, even if they have completely pervaded, they will not become large limbs, because the body has gaps, they will enter the gaps. If so, the limbs will become hard or heavy, but they will not, because they are very subtle. The so-called division into two, three, and five is because it arises from thought and what is done by thought, so it is said to be two. Thought is the action of mind. From that arise the actions of body and speech. Because it is said like this, it is said to be three. Because the actions of body and speech are the difference between expression and non-expression, and the fifth is the action of mind, so it is said to be five. The so-called non-expression, non-indication, non-absence, means that in reality, non-expression is only good and non-good. The so-called having the power of karma is the characteristic of non-expression. And the word "also" indicates that it also exists in the desire realm, because the word "also" means "too", so it leads to the existence in the desire realm. The so-called like the non-outflow expressive, for example, the temporarily non-outflow expressive does not have the non-outflow arising, but where it arises, the four great elements of the earth in that place that produce it are produced as the cause, similarly, the four great elements that are temporarily practiced in the formless realm are also not there, but where it arises, the earth in that place that produces the formless realm

If it is said that non-manifest form, which operates in the formless realm, arises by taking the elements of the place of birth as the cause, that is not correct, because it does not belong to the realm. Saying "because it does not belong to the realm" is not because it is dissimilar. For example, non-manifest form without outflows is not possessed by the craving that operates in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, so it does not belong to the realm. For it, whether from the perspective of the realm or the ground, there are no equally divided great elements, nor are there unequally divided great elements. Therefore, wherever it is born, it arises by taking the great elements present there as the cause. Non-manifest form that operates in the formless realm does not arise by taking the unequally divided elements of the desire realm and the form realm as the cause, because it is the third realm, so it is thought. Furthermore, because it turns its back on all forms, the absorption of the formless realm cannot generate form, but the absorption of the form realm without outflows can generate form, which is the definition of generating non-manifest form. Why? Because it turns its back on all forms, so it is thought. Also, how does the absorption of the formless realm turn its back on all forms? Therefore, it is said "because it is separated from the perception of form," meaning that it will be separated from the perception of form. The sutra extensively says, "Discipline is the antidote to immoral discipline," meaning that because immoral discipline in the desire realm is caused by unwholesomeness, its antidote is the discipline of the form realm, which is the nature of non-manifest form, so it is acceptable to say that. If it is said that the behavior of the formless realm is also the same as it, that is not correct. Therefore, it is extensively said, "The formless realm is far from the desire realm," meaning that the formless realm is separated from the desire realm by four distances. Because it is distant, the discipline included in the formless realm cannot be the antidote to the desire realm, the four distances refer to what has been said above.
