Because it does not arise from transformation of the elements and sources. The reason for saying "because it is not included in the realm" is that the body and pure actions of the unpolluted are not in accordance with the realm, so it is thought that it is not certain. Then why do the great elements of the unpolluted not arise as causes? Therefore, it is said, "Because there are no things that arise from the unpolluted." Again, some may wonder what the great elements do in this? Therefore, it is said, "Because it arises by its power," which means that it arises by the power of arising. If it arises in this way, why does it not transform only by the power of the mind? Because it would become a form that is not a cause. "Non-revealing form, non-appropriated" means that because it is not sentient, it cannot be the object of reliance for the mind and mental factors. "Arising from a similar cause" means that because it is virtuous and non-virtuous, it does not arise from the ripening result, because there is "non-revealing, ripening result, neutral." Ripening result also says "ripening result, neutral dharma," because it is neutral. Because it is not accumulated and does not arise from growth, it is implied that it arises from a similar cause. Because it belongs to the continuum of sentient beings, it is shown as a sentient being. "Arising from the elements of similar appropriation" means that it arises from the great elements of similar appropriation, because it depends on the mind that arouses it, and because it is the object of expression of the mind that is not in equipoise, it does not arise from the great elements that are expanded by meditation and by samadhi. For the same reason, it also arises from the great elements of ripening result. "Born from Samadhi" means that the arising of growth arises from the non-revealing form of meditation and unpolluted discipline, and from the polluted and unpolluted Samadhi, so it is called born from Samadhi. "Taking the unappropriated great elements as the cause" means that by the power of the mind in equipoise, the mind arises in that body.
