It is regarded as the only path, not the immediate path, etc., because it is established for the sake of abandoning the antidote. The so-called "all immediate paths" also refers to anything that appears later. The so-called "path of liberation" also refers to everything, which should be combined with specific circumstances. The special path is understood here to be anything other than these three paths. The so-called "it is impossible to distinguish afflictions from association" is because it is impossible to feel happy from one's own collection. Temporarily unarisen, even if it has already been distinguished, will not arise from that object, because of that reason, if it can also be distinguished from the object, then how can the past that arose from an object be understood? Because it is impossible to turn the object of focus into a non-object of focus. The so-called "that is also uncertain" refers to completely understanding the object, and the correct understanding of the object, Extinction and abandonment of the object. Antidote arises and is exhausted. In these four ways, it is believed that afflictions are exhausted. Therefore, the so-called "completely understanding the object" is uncertain. Therefore, the so-called "this must be said" is a synonym for "this must be answered." To this, the teacher Samantabhadra replies: Afflictions should be abandoned from the object, because by the power of completely understanding the object, afflictions will be abandoned. Subtle objects have two types: objects that will be associated and objects that will not be associated. Among them, in the continuum of sentient beings, the obtainment produced by the power of those who have objects of things that will be associated, and those subtle ones that are not their objects, that is, becoming the cause and effect of future and past afflictions, even in the continuum of sentient beings, for the mind of non-afflicted ones, it will constantly appear. And the obtainment of the afflictions that generally arise after the afflictions of those who have objects of things that will not be associated, and those who are not their objects, should also be known to be the same as this. That is the unarisen

Because they become the condition for arising, they are also the cause; and because they become the similar cause of the past dharmas, they are also the result. Afflictions are because they are completely grasped by it, so it is also contrary to obtaining and encountering the similar cause of abandoning the antidote. Therefore, any afflictions that arise from an object also cause afflictions that are focused on others to arise, and if a similar cause of abandoning its antidote arises, then even if those afflictions are focused on it, if they are separated from cause and effect, then cutting off their attainment is called abandonment. Therefore, because if one does not fully understand the reality of certain objects of affliction, then the power of the afflictions in the continuum that have it as their object will cause the attainment of afflictions that are not its object to become the cause and effect of the future and the past, and to arise unrealistically, therefore, one should abandon afflictions from the object, they think. So, isn't it thought that afflictions can also be abandoned by abandoning the object, etc.? If so, why say that afflictions can be abandoned by the power of fully understanding the object? The idea is that those can also be abandoned only by the power of fully understanding suffering, etc., because they have its nature, because they have its nature. Those who say that abandoning by generating the antidote, the afflictions to be abandoned by cultivation, can also be abandoned only by fully understanding the truth of suffering, etc., which is the object, should be understood in this way. So, abandoning afflictions by abandoning the object, etc., is only a mere imputation, this is obvious. What exists in one's own continuum is through cutting off attainment, to explain in detail, the afflictions of one's own continuum are said to be abandoned by being separated from attainment. The afflictions of another's continuum are not through cutting off attainment, because there is no attainment of it in one's own continuum. So what is it? The afflictions focused on it in one's own continuum
