If one speaks of a person endowed with omniscience, they are called endowed with omniscience. Their power is called the power of being endowed with omniscience. If one possesses the power of omniscience, then they must possess eleven powers, because one who possesses the power of omniscience abides in the path of learning and its fruition, and exists in all three realms. If one is born in the fourth dhyana and the formless realm, how do they possess the powers of pleasure and joy? If a noble one, upon being separated from desire, will surely obtain the power of joy, and upon being separated from desire from the second dhyana, will also obtain the power of pleasure. These will not be abandoned even if they transmigrate, just as it is said: Those who transmigrate and decline abandon the virtues belonging to dhyana. Likewise, noble ones belonging to the formless realm, through fruition, hearing, practice, and decline, etc. It will be explained in this way. When attaining fruition and cultivating powers, those included in the path of entry and the path of dull faculties are also abandoned, but other powers included in fruition and sharp faculties will be obtained. Therefore, noble ones born in the fourth dhyana and the formless realm, even if they have transmigrated, have not completely abandoned the powers of pleasure and joy, and they alone possess these powers. The rest are uncertain as before. One who possesses the power of omniscience, possesses thirteen powers. This is explained extensively, that one who possesses the power of omniscience only generates the power of omniscience in the desire realm, therefore they are sentient beings who act in the desire realm, because the 'Irreversible Wheel Sutra' says, "Here they create, and ultimately they perfect." Therefore, this one must also have the physical faculty, and also have four feelings except for displeasure, because they will be confused in the state of being separated from desire. Therefore, the word 'surely' should be added, to determine that they surely possess thirteen powers, but not only thirteen powers. The rest are uncertain, because even the blind and others may have the path of seeing.

If asked: If the female and male sexual organs are not complete, how can the path of seeing arise? For those who do not possess or have lost the female and male sexual organs, there is no obtaining of vows, fruition, and freedom from desire. Some say that those who have obtained vows will obtain fruition, and hermaphrodites will abandon the Pratimoksha vows, but this is not because they have lost their sexual organs. Or, by gradually becoming accustomed to practices that are in accordance with the decisive factors, even if the female and male sexual organs disappear, the path of seeing will arise. Others say that here it refers to people in general, and not to a specific individual who necessarily possesses senses or has defects. For example: 'Equanimity, life force, and mind, those who possess these three are definite.' Whether born in the desire realm or in the peak of existence, all those who possess equanimity definitely possess these three. As for sensory defects, they should be adjusted according to the specific circumstances. Some do not possess colored senses, such as those born in the formless realm. 'From here, it is explained in detail that some do not possess faith, etc., that is, those who have completely severed the roots of virtue. But this does not include those born in the formless realm. Furthermore, all those who possess the power of complete knowledge definitely possess the thirteen senses mentioned earlier. For some people, defects should be adjusted only according to the specific circumstances. For example, some do not possess the eye sense, that is, the blind. Some do not possess the ear sense, that is, the deaf.' Similarly, some do not possess the female organ, that is, men. Some do not possess the male organ, that is, women. Some do not possess unpleasant feeling, that is, those who are free from desire.' It should be understood in this way. 'Among the non-virtuous, possessing a small amount, body feeling life mind possessing eight.' It means that among some non-virtuous people, those who possess a small amount (of virtue), how much is that small amount (of virtue)?
