etc., such as form, smell, taste, and touch, cannot be completely determined. If someone says that because these are imperceptible to the senses, they are necessarily impossible to grasp, then, therefore, it is also said that those such as earth are perceptible to the eye and touch. The detailed explanation of "for words" etc. is that Peluka says that substances with branches such as wool will not become words. Thus, if the previously existing qualities disappear and the aggregated qualities arise, then the substances that depend on them remain in their own state, so the cognition of wool etc. will not arise either. Therefore, because there is no cognition of them, only cognition of form etc. arises, not of things that have become other substances. If substances such as wool are different from form etc., then it exists in its own state, and only form etc. will be destroyed by heat after contact with fire, so the cognition of wool etc. will not arise either. Therefore, only the cognition of wool etc. arises for form etc. The Vaibhashikas say that if the pot is only form etc., then when form etc., that is, when other things such as color change arise after contact with fire, it will not be fully known that this pot is this. According to which view, color etc. are only destroyed and produced, and the pot exists in its own state, according to that view, it can be fully known. Therefore, it is said that when the color changes, the pot is fully known because the shape is similar, just like a rosary. The substance called the rosary of ants, although it is not separate from them, because the shape is similar to the previous one, it will also be fully known that this is also the rosary of ants. Said: How is it known that it is fully known because the shape is similar, but not because it exists in its own state? Because no sign of this is seen.

It is said because of not knowing completely. Because one cannot fully understand without seeing the signs of high and low, etc., it is established that it is because of the similarity in shape. That also, is an extensive explanation, that is, the joy, which possesses great suppleness, because great suppleness arises from joy in the mind. Because of possessing great suppleness, it makes the body soft, therefore it is a water kalpa. Because of that, it is extensively explained, because it makes the body soft, the second dhyana of entering into equipoise, because it can exhaust the hardness of the body. The Blessed One said that the feeling of suffering ceases. That happiness is also abandoned, and suffering has already been abandoned, and the happiness and unhappiness of the mind also cease, neither happiness nor suffering, equanimity and mindfulness are completely purified, and the fourth dhyana is fully perfected and dwells. It is said because of being free from inner faults, the inner faults are thoughts and investigations, etc. Thoughts and investigations, as well as pure breath and happiness, etc., are those eight. Which eight? It is a synonym for being free from those. Regarding immovability, immovability means that shaking is the meaning of moving, this is the way of the origin of the word. These retinues of the Pure Abodes also cannot enter the formless realms, because they are practitioners of insight, and the formless realms are practitioners of calm abiding. They also cannot go to other lower levels, because they go in a special way. The order is, just as it is said, after fire destroys seven times, one water destruction occurs, and again after fire destroys seven times, the second water destruction occurs, and it is the same until the seventh destruction, and after seven water destructions like that, there are also seven fire destructions. Then finally, one wind destruction occurs. Why does water destruction occur after a long time, as it is said, and wind destruction occurs after an even longer time than that? Therefore,

Thus, the term "in between" is extensively mentioned. Just as the absorption of the second dhyana is superior to the first dhyana, the bodies of beings in the second dhyana realm are also superior. The lifespan of those born in the first dhyana is one-fourth of a great kalpa, while those born in the second dhyana have a lifespan of two kalpas. Similarly, the containers are also similar. Why? Because the place is superior, it should be connected in this way. Similarly, it should also be stated that the third dhyana is superior to the second dhyana. As it is said, why is it that fire destroys in sets of seven, appearing eight times, so the fire destruction is fifty-six, the water destruction is seven, and the wind destruction is one, so the destruction becomes sixty-four. Therefore, the established saying that the lifespan of the gods of Well-Increased Virtue is sixty-four kalpas, as it is said, is well said. Thus, the bodies above the Lesser Light are doubled and doubled. Here, the Well-Increased Ones are said to have a body measurement of sixty-four yojanas, and their lifespan is measured by their own body's kalpas. As it appears, the lifespan of those beings is also stated by the measurement of their bodies. Each destruction is made into a great kalpa, and only after that time will their lifespan be completely fulfilled. The commentary on the Abhidharmakosha, called "Meaning Clear," was composed by the teacher Raja-putra Kirti-mitra, called "Showing the World," which is the third chapter of the Treasury.
