Because of holding, it is like a fire wheel. The so-called "on threads etc. that are different in shape, kind, and function" is extensively explained, blue and yellow etc. are different, and the threads are different in shape; Duku la and coarse cotton etc. are different, and the kinds are different; the up and down directions are different, and the functions are different, but they are not present in the shape of cloth etc. On that, what kind of shape, kind, or function is there? If you think like this, thinking that the shape etc. of this is diverse. Therefore, if you examine that the shapes etc. are diverse, it will also become creating different kinds, and threads and rushes etc. will also become creating cloth. If that is the case, then it contradicts the characteristics of the Dharma, and things will become creating extremely different kinds, this is the concluding remark. If one side of the cloth is bright and the other side is not bright, it will also become invisible, because it is considered to be a diverse nature. The Vaisheshika school believes that if you see the shape, you will determine the things that depend on it. The Great自在天 is because it depends on many things, so it will also be determined by the shape. The limbs are not visible because they do not decorate the shape well, because it is said like this. Or the non-bright side will also be seen as the bright nature. If the cloth becomes visible, it is because it is considered to be a diverse nature. The function is also diverse, so it will become extremely diverse, the so-called one thing cannot have multiple functions. If the function itself is diverse, then the things that appear similar to the function will be considered to be other. The so-called cold and heat and appearance are different is extensively explained, in the first, last, and middle parts, the cold and heat and appearance of the characteristics of the light of the fire of the possessor of parts are different, and the color and tactile objects etc. will also be seen as different. If that difference is large, medium, and small in order, then the color and tactile objects etc. of the light object of the possessor of parts are also unreasonable. It is not possible to have many colors or tactile objects etc. on one possessor of parts. Therefore, from the parts, there is no other object of the possessor of parts.

However, if something with branches, such as cloth, does not arise from branches such as threads, then it does not exist. Since atoms are imperceptible to the senses, and these branches have not initiated perception by the senses, if all beings cannot manifest, then cows and the like would also appear. Therefore, if it is thought that those atoms that are initially imperceptible to the senses have created another object of perception, then it is established. In response to this, it is elaborated that "even though atoms are not objects of the senses." Just as according to your Vaisheshika view, even though the senses cannot perceive, the aggregates themselves produce results, not the individual entities. Similarly, even if we consider that the branched entity has not become something else, the aggregates and only the aggregates are manifest, not the individual entities. For example, to generate visual consciousness, the aggregation of the eye and so on, namely the eye, form, light, and attention, is the cause, not each one individually. Similarly, even though atoms are imperceptible to the senses, the aggregates are perceptible, not each one individually. For those with impaired vision, even though no branched entity is created, a collection of scattered and incoherent hairs is perceived, not each individual hair. For those with impaired vision, just like atoms, a single strand of hair is imperceptible to the senses, therefore, no other substance arises from those things. Thus, having refuted the existence of branched entities, in order to refute that the possessor of qualities is a different entity from qualities such as form, it is elaborated that "only form and so on." Only form and so on are given the name "atom," therefore, if that ceases, that is, if form and so on cease, then the atom is also proven to cease. The Vaisheshikas say: The atom is a substance, and the substance is also different from form and so on, because from the established conclusion, it possesses form, smell, taste, and touch. It is not reasonable to consider this itself as another entity, because anyone would say that these are earth, water, fire, and so on. These are the forms of those elements such as earth.
