If one does not want to admit that they are only these, then actions such as swallowing saliva, chewing teeth, opening the eyes and smiling, and bending and stretching the joints of the bones, will have to be considered as the function of the senses. The detailed explanation of "all things that are causes" is that if one thinks that whatever has the ability is its sense, and does not admit the above-mentioned cause, then all things that are causes, such as seeds, etc., will have to be considered as the function of their own actions, that is, the function of the characteristics of their own results (such as seedlings, etc.). Therefore, relate these to the situation. Therefore, it is unreasonable to think that these etc. are senses. In the detailed explanation of "eyes etc.", "in it" is a conjunction of words. Regarding "has been explained", it refers to: the consciousness of them depends on, eyes etc. and colors etc. And: the male and female senses in the body. Regarding "the power of life" refers to: life is longevity, is warmth, and is what consciousness depends on. This is here. "Faith etc. are from mental phenomena" refers to: faith and caution are thoroughly purified. In this direction. Regarding "feeling etc." also, feeling is called experience. Feeling, thought and perception. Because these will appear, it has already been explained. If someone asks, are they not also going to be explained from mental phenomena? Although it is true that the general nature of feeling has been explained and will be explained, but because one wants to grasp the nature of distinguishing characteristics from here, it is mentioned that "pleasure etc. will be explained". Then, the omniscient senses etc. do not need to be explained, because the characteristics of consciousness have been explained. Faith etc. will be explained from mental phenomena. Pleasure, joy and equanimity, are these going to be explained? These must also be explained. Because these must be proven to be the essence of the nine substances. In this case, things that do not understand these nine substances will be called omniscient senses, in this case, the omniscient

It will become "the one who is me." In this case, it will become "the independent one who possesses all knowledge," and the differences in these cases must be explained. Therefore, it is well said that "one will explain happiness and the like, and the independent one who knows all things, and the like." The body feeling is not tranquil. The term "body feeling" is used to eliminate the mind. The term "not tranquil" is used to eliminate tranquility. Among them, the body is the five senses, such as the eye, because it is the nature of minute particles and the like. Existing on or relying on the body, acting together with the body, therefore it is of the body, that is, the feeling that relies on the five senses, whatever harms it, that is the independent one of suffering, and this should be understood. Tranquility is happiness, and here the terms "of the body" and "independent one" should be connected. The term "tranquility" is mentioned to eliminate non-tranquility. Thus it is said that the feeling that relies on the five senses, tranquility that benefits, that is the independent one of happiness. In the third dhyana, that of the mind is the independent one of happiness. It means that in the third dhyana, the tranquility of the mind's feeling is also the independent one of happiness, and this is how it is established. Why is it said that it is only the tranquility of the mind, and not of the body? Here it is said that because there are no five aggregates of consciousness there, there is no feeling of the body. Why is it not the independent one of mental happiness in the third dhyana? Therefore, it is said that in the third dhyana, because one is separated from the desire for joy, it is only the independent one of happiness. Just as it is said in the sutra, those who are separated from the desire for joy abide in equanimity, and in detail, they abide in happiness with mindfulness, and it is said that they abide having perfected the third dhyana. If one thinks that joy is different from mental happiness, therefore it is said that joy is mental happiness. The non-tranquility of the mind, that is, unhappiness, means that harming the feeling of the mind, that is unhappiness.
