I am not the doer. What then? It is said that even for complete purification, there is a doer. Some Mind-Only proponents say this, and they also bring forth scriptures like this: "For complete purification, there is mastery, like this, a blissful mind will abide equally." Faith with the cause of suffering, because this faith has the cause of suffering, therefore this faith is with the cause of suffering. It is a synonym for "arising from the cause of suffering." If there is suffering, some may generate faith in the Dharma or the Three Jewels, or desire to renounce. The so-called "sixfold dependence on emergence," means the sixfold dependence on emergence of pleasure, the sixfold dependence on emergence of displeasure, and the sixfold dependence on emergence of equanimity. Emergence refers to the path with and without outflows. Others say that emergence means emerging from the realms or samsara and being free from desire. As it is said in the sutra, "Relying on forms that are objects of eye consciousness, dependence on emergence of pleasure arises." This is like having emergence as its object, or being in accordance with emergence, it is a synonym. Similarly, relying on mind and dharmas, dependence on emergence of pleasure arises, until... Similarly, relying on forms that are objects of eye consciousness, displeasure arises. Similarly, until mind... Similarly, relying on forms that are objects of eye consciousness, dependence on emergence of equanimity arises, and similarly until mind... Some think they will be able to attain emergence, therefore they feel happy. Some think they have not strived for emergence, therefore they feel unhappy. Some, after separately examining forms and so on, maintain a state of equanimity. Others say that "is" refers to the Sutra School proponents. In order to completely abandon repetition after recognition.

The action is that consciousness completely eliminates contempt, but the eyes and ears cannot, so it is thought. It is said that there is no seeing of form or hearing of sound other than consciousness, because when observing the seen form and the heard sound, it cannot be found that there is an independent existence outside of grasping, and grasping is only consciousness, not other. Therefore, the consciousness of the eyes and ears is said to be able to control the production of things with the same nature, that is, they themselves, rather than controlling other things, so it is thought. It is said that "the mind should be directed to all things," because it is sufficient to explain by "taking one's own things and controlling them," so the word "is" in the sentence "the mind should be directed to all things" is because all dharmas are not the nature of the dharma realm, which has been explained in detail above. Someone asks: Can't things also control the mind? Answer: Because the sutra says that consciousness arises depending on the two. The sutra says, "What is especially able to control is control," meaning that what is especially able to control is control. Its nature is especially able to control. The sutra says, "Because it is the common cause of taking all forms," meaning that the single nature of the eye is the cause of taking all forms such as blue and yellow. The single nature of form is not the cause of taking all forms such as blue and yellow, because blue is not the cause of taking yellow. The sutra says, "Because taking follows the nature of brightness, etc.," meaning that taking follows the nature of brightness or not of the eyes, etc. For example, if the eyes are bright, then what they take is also bright; if the eyes are not bright, then what they take is also not bright. The word "etc." indicates following the nature of unwholesome, wholesome, with feeling, and without feeling. If the mind is unwholesome, then what it takes is also unwholesome; if it is wholesome, then what it takes is also wholesome. If there is feeling, then what it takes is also with feeling; if there is no feeling, then what it takes is also without feeling.

Yes. The object is not to follow after the clarity or non-clarity of form, etc. Therefore, it is said, "Because it is the opposite of that." Therefore, the eye, etc., are particularly dominant, but form, etc., are not. Regarding the statement "From the body faculty, there are the female and male faculties," the reason for establishing this is that the female and male faculties are the nature of the body faculty, because they produce the consciousness of what is to be touched, just like the body faculty that is not the nature of the female and male faculties. The uncommon dharma is like the eye faculty. Regarding the statement "The female faculty is nature, coquetry, wavering, and thoughts, etc.," the thought of a woman is that a woman thinks of a man. A man is the opposite. Since that is the case, the female and male faculties are only dominant over the differences of sentient beings. The life faculty is dominant over abiding in the same kind, but not dominant over connecting the intervals between the same kind, as in the view of the Vaibhashikas, because only attention is dominant over that. Regarding the statement "Feelings are dominant over all afflictions," this is in accordance with the tenets of the Vaibhashikas. As they say in detail, afflictions can also be suppressed, which is through the ways of the mundane path. It is also said that the assembly of pure qualities that leads the path has a dominant role. Therefore, faith, etc., each have a dominant role over the assembly of pure qualities. Regarding the statement "Without the mind being liberated, there is no complete nirvana," the faculty endowed with all knowledge is the unconditioned faculty of exhaustion, etc. It itself is also liberated because of being liberated from afflictions and because of the continuum being liberated. Obtaining it will become nirvana without remainder. Therefore, the faculty endowed with all knowledge is established as having a dominant role over nirvana without remainder. In order to abide in comfort in the visible dharma, the extensive explanation is that seeing the dharma is the visible dharma.
