The nose and sounds are the five grounds from the desire realm to the fourth dhyana. Consciousness is the desire realm and the first and second dhyana grounds. The body above that is the nose of that ground or the upper ground, not the lower ground. The object of the nose here is the sound of that ground or the lower ground, not the sound of the upper ground of the nose. The nose of the lower ground can never hear the sound of the upper ground. Consciousness or the upper ground is not the nose, like sound. Sound is of this body, both of which are everywhere, here, the object of the consciousness of the nose just mentioned is all the sounds of the upper and lower and own grounds. The sound and consciousness of the body are all everywhere. The mind is not definite, just as the body does not have the eyes and nose of the lower ground, like that, the eyes and nose are definite, so the mind is not definite. Therefore, the body of the five grounds, at the time of entering into samadhi and birth, the mind, etc., as appropriate, is all grounds, that is, mind and dharma and the consciousness of mind are all grounds from the desire realm to the peak of existence. For example, if someone born in the desire realm, if after the mind of the desire realm, generates the consciousness of mind that is based on the dharma of the desire realm, only of the desire realm, then everything is of the desire realm. If at the time of birth or at the time of entering into samadhi, from the first dhyana ground to the peak of existence ground, as appropriate, generates the consciousness of mind of the desire realm, then the mind is those. The rest are of the desire realm. If the consciousness of that is generated right there, then the object is the dharmas from the first dhyana ground to the peak of existence ground, so the dharma is those. The rest are like before. Similarly, from being born in the first dhyana to being born in the peak of existence, it should be said as appropriate. The incidental chapter is finished, that is, the eye and the consciousness realm each and

There is also obtaining together. This is related to the case of "this," or where the body is located, and the eyes see forms, etc., such as this are incidental cases, because they come from the perspective of seeing. In saying "two consciousnesses of the outer five," saying five is to dispel the realm of dharma. Saying "outer" is to clarify the eyes, etc., because it is determined that only the outer five are to be cognized by two, so the other thirteen realms are not the objects of the five aggregates of consciousness, therefore it is established that one consciousness is to be cognized by one consciousness. In saying "unconditioned dharma is permanent," only the unconditioned is permanent, because it does not change at any time, so it is permanent. Of the dharmas, half and which are, the power spoken of within the twelve. This is related to the case of what is called "realms." Twenty-two powers are spoken of. This means that the Brahmin Svarasravanin went to where the Blessed One was, and having gone, together with the Blessed One, manifestly and truly rejoiced and spoke various pleasing words, and then sat down on one side. Having sat down, the Brahmin Svarasravanin said this to the Blessed One: "O Gautama, what are the powers? O Gautama, how many powers are there? How many are included by the powers?" "Brahmin, these are the twenty-two powers, which twenty-two? The power of the eye, the power of the ear, the power of the nose, the power of the tongue, the power of the body, the power of the mind, the power of the female, the power of the male, the power of life, the power of pleasure, the power of pain, the power of mental pleasure, the power of mental displeasure, the power of equanimity, the power of faith, the power of diligence, the power of mindfulness, the power of concentration, the power of wisdom, the power of the power of knowing what is not yet known, the power of the known, and the power of the known with knowledge. Brahmin, these are the twenty-two powers.

There are twenty-two, because these alone include the faculties. Then, the Brahmin Svarupa, having heard what the Blessed One said, was overjoyed and rejoiced, and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. The so-called "half of Dharma" is a synonym for "a part of the Dharma realm." The Sautrantikas, because they are disrespectful to the establishment of the six ayatanas, that is, the establishment of the six ayatanas from the eye-ayatana to the body-ayatana and the mind-ayatana, are disrespectful to their rational essence. They place the mind-faculty after the life-faculty because it has an object. The feeling-faculty and other faculties that have an object are also placed after it. The so-called eleven faculties, such as the life-faculty, refer to the life-faculty, the five sense-faculties, and the five faculties of faith, etc. "The part of the three" refers to the fact that among the nine natures such as the all-knowing faculty, the other eight, except for the mind-faculty, are a part of the Dharma realm. The so-called "eye, etc., are mentioned by their own names" means that the five realms of eye, etc., are the five faculties, that is, from the eye-faculty to the body-faculty. The female and male faculties are only a part of the body, so the five realms of eye, etc., are seven faculties. The seven mind-realms are the mind-faculty. Thus, the twelve internal realms are eight faculties. In order to determine that only the twelve internal realms and half of the Dharma are faculties, it is established that the five realms of form, etc., and that part of the Dharma realm other than that are not faculties. The explanation of the Dharma Treasury, called "Clear Meaning," written by the son of the king, Sravaka, in which the "Realm Chapter" is the first chapter of the Abhidharma. The so-called "in explaining the faculties" is to show that there is a connection between the first and second chapters of the Abhidharma, and therefore it is said "in explaining the faculties." Because at the end of the Abhidharma it says: "Half of the Dharma and which are the twelve
