Will attain higher realms. Thus it was said. Furthermore, how is it known that the term 'mind' is referred to as the sound of 'self'? For that reason, the Bhagavan spoke of 'from another' and so forth. In another verse it is said: Subduing the mind is good, subduing the mind brings happiness. Therefore, the meaning is that those dharmas that are done as inner mind, or under the control of the inner mind, and are close to becoming the nature of a support, those are internal; and those that are the nature of an object, those are external. This is the meaning. What is it that is close? Because consciousness follows after that which has changed. It is evident that only the eye and so forth have consciousness, but not form and so forth. Thus, the mind is completely determined to exist on the side of the body connected with the senses, and not on the side of the object. If that is so, then the six realms of consciousness and so forth are extensively explained. For the time being, here, the five realms of consciousness are regarded as being only present because they are simultaneous with the object and the sense organ, and the five aggregates of consciousness are those with present objects. Here, the realm of consciousness of mind is also established as being only present. Because the support, the realm of mind, is also established from what has just passed. The realm of mind and the realm of consciousness of mind are distinguished only by means of the difference of time, therefore, they will not become internal, because they have not become the realm of mind itself, nor have they become past, so they will not become the support of the mind. When it is, at that time it is also those, it does not go beyond its own nature. What does this statement prove? This proves that because the nature of the support that will arise is internal, therefore these present ones will also become the nature of a support. If, again, the consciousness that arises in the future and present is extensively explained, then whatever is the definition of the realm of mind in the past, that alone exists even in the times of the future and present, so one might think.

It is so. The definition is that there is no confusion in all times, which is synonymous with completely not abandoning self-nature. The term "dharma" means "having a basis," and the term "dharma" means "only having a basis," therefore it is definitely held. What is determined as the object of which consciousness? For example, form is determined as the object of eye consciousness, and so on, all dharmas are determined as the object of mind consciousness. If eye consciousness arises in that, or the nature of arising dharmas, if an object of the nature of arising or arising dharmas arises between that mind consciousness, it is called "having a basis." Its object is also called "excluding those arising simultaneously with its own nature," except for those arising simultaneously with its own nature, all dharmas are the nature of the object of that consciousness. Acting on oneself is contradictory, because the fingertip cannot touch itself with the fingertip, and the sword edge cannot cut itself with the sword edge. Because it is extremely close, those that arise simultaneously with it, whether similar or dissimilar, are also not so, because the eye grease in the eye cannot hold itself. That moment of mind is also the object of another moment of mind, which means that the dharmas that arise simultaneously with self-nature in the previous moment, if they are not objects, they also become objects, so all dharmas become the objects of two moments. Therefore, the dharma realm is always having a basis, which means that the dharma realm is only determined by mind. The rest are, those similar to it are also. The word "also" means that those with a basis are also, which means that only the rest are those with a basis and similar, therefore it is definitely held. Because the realm of dharma is only having a basis, the rest are not having a basis, so it cannot be established as having a basis and those similar to it.

What is it then? It will not be accomplished, because only those with support (rten pa dang bcas pa) are not, it will become like saying this, but it will become only the same as it, in order to eliminate that, the remainder is: those that are the same as it also exist. Having created this, it is not only those with support, nor is it only those that are the same as it. Whatever does not do its own work, this should be connected to those that are the same as it, because it is said at the end of those that are the same as it. Whatever does its own work will be said to have support, which means that it is definitely considered that the one who does not do his own work is the same as it, and only the one who is the same as it does not do his own work, and by the power of meaning, it means that the one who does his own work has support. Forms and other phenomena are seen, this is not to say that they will be seen. If that were the case, today's past and yesterday's past would also be completely included, if not, it would become a pervasive characteristic. Or it should be considered that only the one that appears as it is is only a symbol, so it should also be said that today's past. Similarly, in the gap of mind, it should also be said because it acts on its own object. How to say it? Which ear hears or listens to sounds, that ear has support, it should be said like this, and it should be repeated like this for everything. Seventh chapter. Having and not having consciousness, this is a synonym for having and not having consciousness. One's eye has support, which means that all have support. Those that are the same as it are also the same, which means that the one's eye that is the same as it is the same as all. Because of contact and grasping, this means that the smells and so on that are in contact with and grasped by the tongue root of the god-given, etc., are not grasped by the sacrifice, because one's own nose root, etc., exists there. Therefore, because it is not common.
