Because it is included in the ayatanas, it is included by them. If it is with the skandhas, because it is the nature of the five skandhas, it is included by the mind and dharma ayatanas. Not being attached to this assembly, the form of its retinue that follows is the form skandha. Feeling and perception are the feeling and perception skandhas. Mental activity and so forth that are concordant, and non-concordant things such as birth, are the formation skandha. Consciousness is the consciousness skandha. Thus, those are the nature of the five skandhas. The ninth and tenth, the exhaustion of the infinity of space and the infinity of consciousness ayatanas, will be explained below. The ayatanas of overcoming are also similar to that, which means that those are also of the nature of non-attachment, therefore they are included by the dharma ayatana. If it is with the skandhas, because it is the nature of the five skandhas, it is included by the mind and dharma ayatanas, and should be explained as before. The exhaustion of space and the infinity of consciousness ayatanas, and the four beginning with the infinity of space ayatana, namely space and consciousness and nothingness and neither perception nor non-perception ayatanas, because they are the nature of the four skandhas, are included by the mind and dharma ayatanas. There, the form skandha is not present. The five ayatanas of liberation, the detailed explanation is that, in the sutra, these five are the ayatanas of liberation. Which five? From this, if a teacher or a brahmachari, a wise person, a lama, or anyone else teaches the Dharma to a bhikshu, then, whatever way the teacher or brahmachari, wise person, lama, or anyone else teaches the Dharma, in that way, one will also correctly understand the meaning of those dharmas, and one will also correctly understand each dharma. Correctly understanding each meaning, and correctly understanding each dharma, great joy will arise. From great joy, joy will arise. When the mind is joyful, the body will become very pliant. When the body is very pliant, one will experience happiness.

If so, the mind will be equally settled. If the mind is equally settled, one will fully know as it is, and see as it is. If one fully knows as it is, and fully sees as it is, one will become disgusted. If one becomes disgusted, one will be free from desire. If one is free from desire, one will be liberated. This is the first place of birth for liberation. If one dwells in this, a monk or nun, even if not mindful, will become mindful; even if the mind is not equally settled, it will be equally settled; even if the outflows are not completely exhausted, they will be completely exhausted; even if one has not attained nirvana and unsurpassed bliss, one will attain it. Furthermore, for this monk, even if there is no teacher, or no wise and venerable one who practices in accordance with Brahma, or anyone else who teaches the Dharma, nevertheless, in whatever way, whatever Dharmas have been heard, upheld, and fully understood, if they are recited with expanded sound, then, regarding those Dharmas, one will also truly know their respective meanings, as previously stated. This is the second place of birth for liberation. If one dwells in this, as previously stated. Furthermore, for this monk, even if there is no teacher, or no wise and venerable one who practices in accordance with Brahma, or anyone else who teaches the Dharma, even if one does not recite with expanded sound the Dharmas that have been heard, upheld, and fully understood, nevertheless, whatever Dharmas have been heard, upheld, and fully understood, if one extensively reveals them to others, in whatever way, whatever Dharmas have been heard, upheld, and fully understood, if one extensively reveals them to others, then, regarding those Dharmas, one will also truly know their respective meanings, as previously stated.

However, one should contemplate, measure, and closely realize everything from how one has heard to how one has fully comprehended. How, how, one should contemplate, measure, and closely realize everything from how one has heard to how one has fully comprehended, and in that way, in that way, one will also correctly recognize the individual meanings of those dharmas, as mentioned before. This is the fourth liberation-birth place, and where one abides, etc., is as mentioned before. Furthermore, for this, instructing a monk, etc., is as mentioned before. Even if one does not recite, nor extensively explain to others, nor contemplate, nevertheless, this person, for any good cause of samadhi, such as, completely offered, or completely gnawed, or completely swollen, or eaten by worms, or completely reddened, or eaten, or completely scattered, or a pile of bones, or a skeleton, holds it very, very well, attends to it well, meditates on it well, relies on it well, and comprehends it well. Here, how, how, for any good cause of samadhi, from "holds it well" to "comprehends it well," as mentioned before. In that way, in that way, one will also correctly recognize the individual meanings of those dharmas, as mentioned before. This is the fifth liberation-birth place, and where one abides, etc., is as mentioned before. The door of liberation-birth is a distinction of wisdom, and wisdom is also included in the dharma-place. When with retinues, it is included in the sound, mind, and dharma-places, for those who teach, recite, and correctly and extensively explain to others, because of hearing the sound, there is the sound-place, and the mind and dharma-places are those that have become retinues of wisdom, because everything is included, so it is included by these three. From two places of birth, etc., in the sutra it says that there are sentient beings with form but without perception, and also those without individual perception, such as the non-perceptual beings, etc., this is the first place of birth. Sentient beings without form and without anything
