It is said to be so. Gathering means showing things that have the nature of gathering. This is because they think that things like past forms are piled up. It is also said in the sutra: What is the nature of earth? It is widely said to be hair and body hair. It is obvious that each of the things such as hair is the nature of earth. This answer can also be used to express the meaning of undertaking a task and the meaning of complete severance. It is not possible to understand it like this, because it says that everything is gathered together, so it is not possible to understand that each one is a form aggregate. If things were like that, it would only be said that everything is a form aggregate. It is meaningless to say that they are gathered together. Therefore, the form aggregates are nominally existent like piles, which is the view established by the teacher. When showing the form aggregate, it should be understood that the recognition that things exist is because they are aggregative. When speaking extensively about things with form, mentioning form is to distinguish it from things without form, because the mind base, which is without form, although not an aggregate, holds the nature of cause. The eye base and other things with form are only aggregates, the gateway for the arising of mind and mental factors, not non-aggregates, because they are the nature of aggregates, so they are nominally existent like aggregates, because the five aggregates of consciousness depend on accumulation and objects. No, because each of the gathered things has become the nature of cause, so it is said that it is not like that. Why? Because each of the assembled and gathered things is a cause. For example, in order to make a tree straight, many things that pull it do not have the ability individually, but the aggregates that depend on each other have the ability. For example,

If hairs exist separately, they cannot generate the consciousness of a blurred eye, but when aggregated, even if not tightly, they can generate consciousness. Similarly, the subtle particles of sense organs such as the eye, and the subtle particles of objects such as forms, cannot individually produce consciousness of the eye, etc., but when aggregated, they can. One should understand that the capacity of things is like that. "Because it acts together with the object," means that if many are the nature of the door of arising, then the aggregate is the birth place itself. If it is not a substantial birth place, then the aggregates of the subtle particles of the senses and objects are the nature of the door of arising, so their aggregates are the birth place itself. If individually they are not birth places, since the sutra says there are twelve birth places, it is also asserted that they are individually birth places. There is also a proof for this: the aggregate of subtle particles of matter of the eye's birth place, which acts together with whatever, is not the birth place of the nature of being aggregated together with those, because it is the cause of the eye's consciousness, like the aggregate of subtle particles of matter of the eye's birth place and the form's birth place. Just as the aggregate of subtle particles of matter of the eye's birth place, so too should it be applied up to the aggregate of subtle particles of matter of the body's birth place. "In the Vibhajyavada it is said," this also shows that the aggregates are nominally existent. This is a distinction, that even though they are not substantial, they are nominally designated and explained in detail, and the word "is" is mentioned to make the distinction. "If one considers the aggregates to be nominally existent," means if one considers the aggregates to be nominally existent, that is, if one considers the accumulation to be nominally existent. "A subtle particle is one realm," means it is a part of any one of the ten realms of form, such as the eye. Similarly, it is also any one of those birth places, and a part of the form aggregate. Why? Because when one considers it to be nominally existent, it is a part.
