If asked, aren't the bodies of owls, cats, and other animals with two eyes, etc., not beautiful? If compared to other species, those bodies are not beautiful. If considering their own species, those with two eyes, etc., have beautiful bodies within their own species, while those without are not beautiful, so refuting is not permissible. The scholar Du Sang explained the meaning of this sutra: "For the sake of beauty" is synonymous with "for the sake of the owner." In the world, it is said that complete senses are beautiful. Those senses whose bodies are incomplete, their seeing, hearing, and smelling are not completely pure, and therefore they become non-owners. Just as seeing with two eyes is completely pure, it is not so with one eye. Similarly, the other two (senses) should also be applied. In this way, these senses themselves will decline, so its meaning will become like this: it is for the sake of clear observation. This is also a synonym. For this, it should also be said that one only wants to generate a vast one that has become a body for the sake of completely clear observation by karma. What is the use of a severed body? Fourth chapter. From the Vibhajyavada it is said: Some say that two appear for the sake of beauty. Others say that it is for the sake of clarity. Both of these aspects are written. By the way, this is the end. Isn't it that the senses arise from the power of karma? Why is it necessary to say something else like "for the sake of beauty" and "for the sake of clarity"? Here it is said that two senses arise solely from the power of karma. How so? Beings are distinguished by the limbs of the body in that way, and from beginningless time, they have become accustomed to the manifestation of pride in beauty. Therefore, wanting that to come first, and wanting clear observation to come first, the two senses of karma are manifestly accomplished, so it is said that they arise for the sake of beauty and for the sake of clarity. Aggregates and birth gates are the meaning of species. The aggregates, sources, and elements are. It is said that these are aggregates and birth

Because of the gate of birth and the abundance of kinds, these are the meanings of accumulation and the gate of birth and kinds. What are they? Namely, the aggregates, the sources, and the elements. In another way, these are the meanings of accumulation and the gate of birth and kinds. What are they? Namely, the aggregates, the sources, and the elements. The Sutra says, "Because of arising, the meaning of accumulation is the meaning of aggregate." Whatever the meaning of accumulation is, that is the meaning of aggregate, which is what the Sutra says, "Whatever form there is, whether past, future, or present," and so on, which is explained in detail. The meaning of "one" is that one is one way. The meaning of "ceasing by impermanence itself" is another way of saying "ceasing by the nature of conditioned phenomena being impermanent." The reason for mentioning impermanence itself is to eliminate other cessations. Cessation is of five kinds: cessation by nature, cessation by absorption, cessation by arising, cessation by discrimination, and cessation by non-discrimination. If one were to say only, "Form that has passed away is cessation," then, because there is no distinction, it would be wrongly extended to cessation by absorption and so on. These are not considered to be the meaning of having passed away. Cessation by absorption is only for future mind and mental factors that have not yet arisen, and cessation by arising is also only for these. Cessation by discrimination is only for defiled phenomena. Cessation by non-discrimination is also only for future phenomena that are not subject to arising. Therefore, in order to explain cessation by nature, this impermanence itself is mentioned. The meaning of "future is unborn" is that it is not happening now. The meaning of "present happening is born but not ceased" is that mentioning "born" is to distinguish it from the future, and mentioning "not ceased" is to distinguish it from the past. Although the future is not ceased, it is not born. Although the past is born, it is not not ceased. The meaning of "internal, is existing in one's own continuum" is the eye and so on, and form and so on.
