From "hoping to receive a hundredfold return for generosity" to "who is an outsider," it all falls under the category of a hundredfold giving. Know that this is undoubtedly the case. The statement "this must be a Bodhisattva residing in the Jambudvipa grove" means just that. In this way, it is impossible for outsiders, other than Bodhisattvas, to be more superior than those who have attained the fruit of stream-entry. The statement, "Giving to outsiders who are free from desire is not as meritorious as giving to someone who has attained the fruit of stream-entry; the merit is immeasurable. Even better than that is giving to a stream-enterer; the merit is immeasurable. Even better than that is giving to someone who has attained the fruit of once-returning; the merit is even more immeasurable," is explained in detail. If one were to obtain conditions that are in accordance with the certainty of residing in the Jambudvipa grove, then merely residing in the Jambudvipa grove itself would become superior. How so? If someone were to say, 'Rather than giving food to a hundred people residing in the Jambudvipa grove, it is better to give to one who is practicing to realize the fruit of stream-entry; the result of this giving is much greater.' Because the fruit of stream-entry and so on are more superior, it was not said that way. Therefore, it can be inferred that the one residing in the Jambudvipa grove must be a Bodhisattva. The phrase "exhaustion of life, etc." refers to dying from the exhaustion of life, and there are also those who do not die from the exhaustion of merit, and so on. The phrase "explaining and connecting, free from desire," in the detailed explanation, correctly explaining the root of virtue is due to wrong view, and this is mental, because it is the cause of discrimination. Connecting the root of virtue itself is due to right view and doubt, and these are also mental. Being free from desire from the desire realm and form realm, being free from desire from the desire realm or form realm, is because it is to be obtained through meditative equipoise. It is merely a manifestation of consciousness. Complete degeneration is caused by improper attention, and improper attention is also a manifestation of consciousness.

It is transformed by knowledge, because it is discrimination. Death is the moment of consciousness corresponding to the cessation of the continuous aggregation of the activities of the five senses, and birth is also transformed by the inverted mind, so it is only the consciousness of mind. The connection of the intermediate state itself should also be understood as the nature of what has been said, saying that it is the cause of connection, because it is the same as what has already been said, so it is thought that it will not be said again. Death is death itself, this is to show that the meaning is the same. Other feelings are clear, referring to happiness and suffering. Because it is an unequal ground, because it is a meditative ground, therefore the desire realm is unequal. Therefore, it cannot be the mind of death or the mind of birth. Then, when does one die in the form realm itself, or at birth, does it become those minds of the meditative ground? Therefore, it is said that it is because it arises from manifestation. Manifestation is effort. What is accomplished by manifestation arises from manifestation. Its nature is that, therefore, what arises from manifestation cannot be the mind of death or the mind of birth, because the moment of death is not clear. Because it is beneficial, because the meditative mind is beneficial, and it is not corresponding to the cessation of continuity, therefore, the meditative mind also has no death. There is also no mindlessness, the extensive explanation is that there is also no mindlessness. What is it? It should be combined with death or birth. Mindlessness refers to entering into cessation meditation, entering into non-thought meditation, and abiding in its ripened result, those mindlessness cannot be harmed or killed by weapons, etc., therefore mindlessness has no death. When does one enter into cessation meditation, or enter into non-thought
