Therefore, whatever is associated with distraction and mindlessness is also called non-manifestation. If someone says, "If it is associated with non-distraction and mindfulness, there is no fault." If it is said that even the mere association of non-distraction is non-manifestation, then the non-manifestation of equipoise is not abandoned. If it is said that the manifestation of good and non-good is the same as this, according to your view, it will also become non-manifestation. Because it is definitely considered good and non-good, there is no fault, because manifestation is also neutral, so it will not become the fault of non-manifestation. In another case, because it is superior, there will be no fault. If the superior association is non-manifestation, even if non-manifestation is not cut off, but because it is seen to be cut off, manifestation does not become a superior association like non-manifestation. If someone says that the word "whatever" is superfluous, then it is also said unreasonably. Like this, only one word "also" appears in the sutra. In terms of connection, its meaning is to combine that person with both, so two will also appear. The teacher said that the word "also" appearing in the sutra only expresses the third person, the Pudgala (person) who is the basis of non-manifestation, through the non-distraction that is liberated from distraction, and the mindfulness that is liberated from mindlessness, and by saying his own name, in the same way, it shows the two Pudgalas (persons) who are the basis of non-manifestation, distraction and mindlessness, thus explaining that non-manifestation is other things transformed from manifestation and mind and mental factors. Pudgala (person) only has a mind that is different from the mind of manifestation, a mind that is the same as the mind of manifestation, and three kinds of mindlessness. Among them, the mind that is different from the mind of manifestation and has

Here, attention is considered to be a distracted mind, therefore, its physical and verbal manifestations are ceased. Mindlessness means that the mind and mental factors are also ceased, therefore, this non-manifestative action is distinguished by the very fact that it is related to them, and therefore, it is different from the manifestative action and the collection of mind and mental factors. In order to explain this meaning, "also of distraction and mindlessness" is mentioned. Saying "the undistracted mind also has non-manifestative action" is not a distinction, because the undistracted mind also has manifestative action. Saying "the distracted mind also has non-manifestative action" is a distinction, because the distracted mind does not have manifestative action, but non-manifestative action will follow, which is different from manifestative action. Similarly, saying "the mindful also has non-manifestative action" is a distinction, because the mindful also has mind and mental factors. Saying "the mindless also has non-manifestative action" is a distinction, because the mind and mental factors of the mindless cease, but non-manifestative action will follow, which is different from mind and mental factors. In this way, even with the single word "knowable," it can be distinguished from other dharmas. The third state of distraction and mindlessness is the undistracted mind. Therefore, because it is the third state, the teacher says with the word "also" that the undistracted is also mindful. If it were not so, the word "also" would only refer to the distracted mind, or only to the mindless mind. For example, in the world there are three people, one is rich and the other two also have only a little wealth, one of them observes them and says, "Pervading Friend has wealth," and the second speaker says, "Devadatta and Yajnadatta also have wealth," then the word "also" points to Pervading Friend.

The word "also" is like the word that exists in both Deva-datta and offering, so it indicates that the friend who pervades is close, and it is a synonym for "to combine." Therefore, the word "also" here is not superfluous, and it is the same here. If someone says that considering the absence of mind, it is necessary to distinguish the subsequent connection of non-virtuous bodily and verbal expressions, then, because this definition is in terms of non-manifestation, and non-manifestation also exists in the absence of mind, if one only wants to express this, then what is the meaning of this distinction? Your definition of non-manifestation: As an incongruent formation, in mind and non-mind, the form that appears without obstruction is considered non-manifestation. From this passage, it does not consider the absence of mind, and does not distinguish non-virtuous bodily and verbal expressions. Because those without mind also have non-virtuous bodily and verbal expressions arising from bodily and verbal expressions, this will be explained in the fourth chapter of the Abhidharmakosha. If someone says that the distinction of "unobstructed" is not made, this will be explained below, because "obstructed and with form are ten," here, only the ten realms are determined to be obstructed. Non-manifestation is the realm of dharma, so it can be determined to be unobstructed. Therefore, our definition of non-manifestation is not flawed and can be retained. The elements such as earth element are widely produced, and the mention of element is to exclude color and shape, etc. Because they hold their own nature and the form that acts as a cause, they are elements. That is, because they hold the nature of pus, such as hardness, and the form of the eye, etc., which act as a cause, they are elements. The eighteen elements are because they hold their own characteristics and common characteristics, or rely on them, the meaning of lineage is the meaning of element. The six elements.
