It is not possible to generate the consciousness that is touched by conditions. If that is the case, according to that explanation, the consciousness with different objects, since there is no unified feeling, what generates it is not touch. If after the eye consciousness that takes form as its object, there arises the eye consciousness that only takes form as its object, or mind consciousness, then that has feeling, and the previously arisen eye consciousness is also touch. If that is the case, then "is" etc. and the determination of many grounds will be lost, because touch and feeling etc. exist in different ways. There are three grounds, namely: with investigation and analysis is the desire realm and the first dhyana. Without investigation but only analysis is the special dhyana. Without investigation and without analysis is from the second dhyana up to the peak of existence. The virtuous ground is virtuous dharma, non-virtuous and neutral are also the same. The ground of learning is the uncontaminated dharmas of learning. The ground of no-more-learning is the uncontaminated dharmas of no-more-learning. The ground of neither learning nor no-more-learning is the contaminated dharmas. Since it is the category of mental factors, the unconditioned is not mentioned here. Among them, which exist in these grounds? "Extensive explanation" etc. are connecting words. "Which" refers to which mental factors. "Exist in all these grounds" refers to those that exist from the ground with investigation and analysis to the ground of neither learning nor no-more-learning, which are the many grounds as previously mentioned, such as feeling and mind etc. Which only exist in virtuous dharmas? Those are the many virtuous grounds, such as faith etc. Which only exist in afflictions? Those are the many afflicted grounds, such as ignorance etc., only those as previously mentioned. "As appropriate" etc. are extensively explained, some others say that those many grounds etc., which exist where, those exist there in different ways, but not all at once. For example, although feeling exists in all grounds, but perception and mind

Earth and touch and attention, etc., are not simultaneous, and touch is also similar to feelings, etc., and similar to that. Likewise, discrimination, etc., on virtuous dharmas are also like that, etc. Others say that this should be understood as it is written in the five aggregates. For example, what is desire? It is the desire for the object of thought, thinking that there is no desire for what is not thought. What is faith? It is the firm grasping of the object of certainty as it is. What is mindfulness? It is the non-forgetting of the familiar object, which is the manifestation of the mind itself. What is samadhi? It is the one-pointedness of mind on the object to be examined. What is wisdom? It is the thorough discernment of that itself, born of knowledge and ignorance, and different from that. Like this, etc., it should be seen as arising from the scriptures of the five aggregates. From that, feeling, perception, touch, attention, and intention are the five that are all-pervasive. Desire, faith, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom are endowed with. It is said that each object is determined in this way, etc. The many places of non-virtue are mentioned in the course of recitation, and now they are drawn from them. This is because the sutras, etc., speak of virtue and non-virtue, so in the course of reciting them, they are drawn from them, and later extracted from them, which is a synonym for saying that. It is not extracted from the foot of discrimination, but the many grounds, the many grounds of virtue, the many grounds of afflictions, and the many grounds of minor afflictions, thus four kinds appear. It is said that they arise together, but it is not said that touch and arise together, which is to make a distinction. These feelings, etc., arise together with each other, but not with touch. Having fully understood this meaning, one should answer the questions of the sutra, which is a synonym for saying that. It is said to be together with loving-kindness. The word "together" is not necessarily defined as occurring simultaneously, but it can also be seen immediately after that. Loving-kindness and mindfulness, the limbs of perfect enlightenment, do not meet.

Therefore, loving-kindness is something with defilements, while mindfulness, the limb of perfect enlightenment, is something without defilements. Therefore, these two cannot be categorized together. The so-called "mixed" refers to the thought that they arise simultaneously. The sutra says, from where exactly, "What is feeling, what is thought, what is concept," etc., that sutra which extensively explains. The so-called "does not understand," extensively explains whether the objects of these feelings, etc., are definite or indefinite? That is, is it to the extent that only the object is experienced, and only consciousness recognizes it? Or is it an indefinite moment, that is, is it to the extent that only one moment is felt, and only consciousness recognizes it? I say, this is object-definite. Therefore, I think this does not contradict the sutra. The teacher says that the sutra says that life and warmth are together and mixed, therefore it is established that the moment is indefinite. Life and warmth, these two dharmas are mixed, but not unmixed. Therefore, it is said that life and warmth arise simultaneously, because these two have no object. Therefore, like this, feeling, concept, thought, and consciousness must arise simultaneously, because the sutra says that they are mixed together, so it is argued like life and warmth. The so-called "how is that," extensively explains, how is that? Consciousness exists, but the root, object, and consciousness are not gathered together. Therefore, as long as consciousness exists, it must be admitted that they are gathered together. And according to your view, gathering is contact. Therefore, all consciousness is contact will not change, or it is gathering but not contact, these two are contradictory. "Six places of mental pleasure," extensively explains that from the eyes seeing things, it approaches things like places of mental pleasure.
