Ignorance is the wisdom of afflictions. That which is neither wisdom nor ignorance is virtuous wisdom with outflows, and the wisdom that is unobscured and unspecified. Those contacts should also be understood in order. The extensive explanation of what is called the contact of ignorance is that the contact of ignorance is associated with all afflictions, arising again and again and constantly arising, which is one aspect. By mentioning it, it becomes two contacts, namely, the contact of aversion and the contact of attachment. "Experiencing pleasure, etc., three" means experiencing pleasure. That which is capable of experiencing pleasure is that which will experience pleasure. Or, because there is that which will experience pleasure in this, it is that which will experience pleasure. Because there are those, etc., in these, it is that which will experience pleasure, etc. "Because it is in accordance with pleasure" means that which is in accordance with experiencing pleasure is that which will experience pleasure. Or, regarding that which is to be experienced or capable of being experienced, "to be experienced" means merely showing the action. "Capable of being experienced" means showing what is appropriate. Those are the sixteen kinds of wisdom, namely, the six from the contact of the gathering of the eye to the contact of the gathering of the mind, and also the contact of resistance, the contact of designation, the contact of wisdom and ignorance, the contact of neither wisdom nor ignorance, and the two contacts, the contact of aversion and attachment, and the three contacts, that which will experience pleasure, that which will experience suffering, and the wisdom that will experience that which is neither pleasure nor suffering, totaling sixteen. Contact has been explained. Feeling is to be spoken of. Regarding feeling, hasn't it already been said that feeling is also experience? If what has already been said is to be said again, then, because "another that has already been said will be said" appears, what has already been said and what will be said, that is not said. Is this not to be spoken of? There is no fault because of distinguishing and showing. Previously, the characteristic was explained, but now the aspect is being explained. The extensive explanation of "for that which has already arisen" is that the dharma to be produced has arisen.

Because things that are already finished do not have the power of dharma to produce, because they arise simultaneously. "There is no difference from the commitment." This means that this proof is no different from the commitment. If you do not want the proof to be no different from the commitment, then it will lead to mutual generation, why? For example, how can two things that arise simultaneously be established as the producer and the produced? This should be combined with the specific situation. This means that if it is promised that two things that arise simultaneously have the nature of being produced and the producer, then this is a violation of the previous commitment, which is to point out the fault of the commitment. "Because of hope, there is no fault." This sentence is to show the previous commitment. "This hope is not recognized by the sutras." This sentence means that in the Abhidharma, "Those who arise simultaneously are mutually the result." This kind of hope is not recognized by the sutras. In order to illustrate this, it is said that the touch arises relying on the aggregation of the eye faculty, and the feeling arises from the aggregation of the eye faculty. Because the sutras are the measure, the view of mutual fruitions is broken, and it is desired to destroy the nature of cause and effect in things that arise simultaneously, so it is said that "because it is contrary to the dharma that produces, it is also unreasonable." The dharma that produces refers to those different things that are gathered together, such as the seed before the sprout and so on. Among them, the root and the object are first, and the consciousness is later, which means that the root and the object arise in the first moment, and the consciousness arises in the second moment. Then, how should the sprout and the shadow be explained? For things that arise simultaneously, there are the produced and the producer, the sprout only produces the shadow when it arises, the sprout arises without the shadow in the first moment, and it is not that it arises with the shadow in the second moment, touch and feeling are similar to this. It can be said that the cause of these two, the shadow and the sprout, is also the previous aggregation, this reason is the cause of simultaneous arising.
