One becomes focused on what is manifest, this is the term called "birth." In terms of meaning, one also becomes focused on names, saying "the name of this thing is this." Then, why is it called a name? The name, which is the characteristic of being designated as a name, why is it a name? Because the name focuses on that particular thing. Just like this, the name focuses on and applies to those things, which are the characteristics of the four aggregates, therefore this is a name, because of focusing it is a name. Here, "having abandoned the body" is a broad statement, meaning that at the time of death, after abandoning the body, in order to focus on another life, the non-material aggregates such as feelings are called names, as it is said, the decaying body of the deceased is burned by relatives, or immersed in water, or buried underground, and is completely exhausted and eroded by wind and sun. And what is called mind, intellect, and consciousness, nourished by faith, discipline, learning, generosity, and wisdom, will go to the next life, become special, and ascend to the heavens, just like that. The statement "the six sense bases have already been explained" is like what is said there: "Their basis of consciousness, eyes etc. accompanied by forms, individual consciousness is awareness, the mind base is also that." The cessation of the mind faculty means that future dharmas such as forms will arise, and how is present mind consciousness understood? Whatever is the cause and effect, the cause is the mind faculty and dharmas such as forms, and the effect is mind consciousness. The meaning of "single fruit" means that the single fruit itself is the meaning, so it is the meaning of single fruit, which is the term "single fruit itself." How is it the meaning of single fruit? The answer is: all three, the mind faculty etc., are consistent and in accordance with producing contact. Categories of Dharma.

The so-called six grounds refer to the fact that there are six groups of six here, so it is six groups of six, namely inner, outer, consciousness, contact, feeling, and craving, because there are these six. The source is the so-called six contact bases, if it is not other, then the sense faculties, objects, and consciousness have already been explained. Therefore, repeating the six contact bases is also not possible, and thus the six groups of six themselves will disappear. Someone says that feeling and craving should also exist outside the dharma-sphere. If they exist outside because they are shown outside, then feeling and craving will also become things different from the dharma-sphere because they are shown outside the dharma-sphere. However, since these two are included in the dharma-sphere, it is not considered that they exist outside. The so-called "this is not a fault," to explain in detail, just as it is said, this is not a fault, because in addition to feeling and craving, the dharma-sphere also has the nature of consciousness and so on, because it exists. The so-called "it is not like that," to explain in detail, according to your view that "the aggregation of three is contact," even so, there is nothing else outside the three of contact, but due to need, what remaining six contact bases can be said from this sutra? The three of contact, namely sense faculties, objects, and consciousness, apart from the three of contact, namely sense faculties, objects, and consciousness, there are no others. Therefore, even if feeling and craving do not exist outside, they can be shown outside for the sake of taming sentient beings. According to your view that aggregation is contact, no matter what the need, the six contact bases should not be shown outside, because by saying the six contact bases, the three of sense faculties, objects, and consciousness have already been said, so those will no longer be said. Therefore, the so-called "types of dharma, six groups of six" will not be established. According to my view, the six groups of contact, feeling, and craving are mentioned.
