If, by knowing in a rational way that without birth there will be no aging and death, then even the limb of birth need not be mentioned, which would be too extreme. The teacher says that this is completely indisputable, which is to explain one's own tenets in detail. Here, how does one come from the other world to this world? In detail, ignorance and actions connect (beings) to this world, which is the limb of consciousness, name, form, six sense sources, contact, and feeling. Craving, grasping, and existence connect (beings) to the other world, which is birth and death. In this sutra of dependent origination, it is to make the beings to be tamed understand these meanings, and these meanings have already been explained above, that is, "to dispel ignorance about the past and future extremes." Because it has already been said with this (verse), therefore it is said here that this is completely indisputable, and it is not showing the detailed content incompletely, it should be connected with the (above) content. Saying that both are conditioned dharmas means that all conditioned dharmas of the three times are dependent origination, and these themselves are also dependent origination, so there is no difference. If it is only the future unmade dharmas, then how? It means that just as the future is called conditioned dharma by the name of what will arise, dependent origination is also the same, this is what is thought. In "with the mind of manifest fabrication," the reason for saying "manifest fabrication" is to manifest the nature of all minds, because it is the manifest ripening, so it is manifest fabrication. Because he thinks, wishing to be born as a god, wishing to be born as a human, and so on. Therefore, it is not with the name of what will arise that the future is called conditioned dharma. In order to abandon that thought, it is said how are the undefiled ones, not

Those future states that are with outflows, it is alright to think of them in that way. What about those future states that are without outflows? How should one think of them? The objector says: Those too, are thoughts with virtuous minds for the sake of attaining the dharmas without outflows, so they are to be attained. Nirvana would also fall into the fault, because Nirvana also thinks of attaining Nirvana, so it would fall into conditioned phenomena. If one establishes that all future things are conditioned phenomena, there would be a fault, because it is similar to that. Explaining other ways in detail: For example, future form, if it can become form, although it cannot become form for the time being, it is called form because it is similar to form. Similarly, future dharmas are also similar to the dharma of dependent origination, therefore, future dharmas are also dependently originated. Because they become cause and effect. Like this, the cause is also that very limb itself. Even so, it is not that there is no establishment by relying on differences, by relying on differences, dependent origination and dependent origination are not unestablished, such as this shore and the other shore, cause and effect. Like cause and effect, like father and son. Among them, cause and effect are like seeds and sprouts, etc. For what is relied upon to be established as a cause, it is not an effect, for what is relied upon to be established as an effect, it is not a cause, then what is it? It is established as a cause by relying on the effect, and it is also an effect by relying on the cause. Just as for what is relied upon to become a father, it is not a son, for what is relied upon to become a son, it is not a father, then what is it? It is called father by relying on the son, and it is also called son by relying on the other, but those are not unestablished either, just like that. The first aspect is the future dharmas, because they are the cause of other dharmas, so they are dependently originated.

Yes, because it arises from this. It is not dependent arising, because it has not arisen. The second is called the last Dharma of the Arhat, because it has already arisen, and no result will arise from it. The third is called "other than that," which is the Dharma that has passed away and is currently arising, other than the last Dharmas of the Arhats. The fourth is called "uncompounded Dharmas," because they have no result, and because they possess the Dharma of non-arising. To say "exists" is impossible. What? What are these? Is someone arbitrarily explaining whatever they want to explain? From "temporary dependent arising" to "there are also Dharmas that are not dependent arising," and so on. The term "unknowable beginning" is because only ignorance is explained, and not the other aggregates, therefore it is said that ignorance alone is a limb, this is the definitive meaning. The definitive meaning is the meaning of distinction. Like the footprint of an elephant, it is a sutra. For them, there are also other things such as form, which means that hair and so on are not only the earth element. Similarly, here too, the main thing is shown as it is. In this Sutra of Dependent Arising, in the various stages of the five aggregates with twelve limbs, it is shown what is the main thing. When ignorance is the main thing, it is shown as ignorance. When formations and so on are the main thing, formations and so on are shown. Apart from that, there are also other Dharmas such as form and feeling. From this, what would cause them not to be completely shown? The earth element showing hair and so on is not like that. The sutra explains in detail, what would cause hair and so on not to be completely shown? What is hair and so on? It is the earth element. Therefore, the earth element showing hair and so on is not like that. For them, there are also other things such as form.
