In a certain place, for sprouts and so on, there is the power of seeds and so on, which causes sprouts, trunks, leaves, branches, etc. to grow, and the power of seeds, sprouts, leaves, etc. can also be seen. Why? Because the place and time are each determined, that is, because the place and time are each determined. Among them, the place is determined separately because it only grows in places related to seeds and so on. The time is fixed because it grows after the seed. Because the place and time are each determined, there is fire and so on for colors and so on, that is, for colors, happiness, suffering, sound, and eye consciousness, and the power of fire, cold, warmth, moisture, and eyes can also be seen. If it were to arise in the absence of a cause, then because the place and time are fixed on the things to be produced, sprouts and so on would not have the power of seeds and so on, and colors and so on would not have the power of fire and so on. If everything were to arise in everything at all times, then such a situation would not be seen either, so there is nothing that arises from no cause. To say that the cause is always there has already been refuted before. Because it says, "Because the Lord and others are not in order, etc." The remaining eight are in the middle, that is, the branches of consciousness, name and form, six senses, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, and existence. In form and formlessness, action is also not, for "action in form," because at the time of the branch of consciousness, there are the branches of name and form and the six senses, so in the middle there are not eight branches. For "action in formlessness," because even the branches of name and form and the six senses are not there. From the Sutra of the Great Discourse on Origination: Ananda, if consciousness does not enter the mother's womb, will name and form become foolish in order to become mushy? Venerable, no. This sutra says that entering the mother's womb is only in the desire realm. Because the previous and later edges, as well as the fruit and cause, have been mentioned.
